Wednesday's Child
I was born one December Wednesday morning in Idaho.  The oldest of three children, I grew up on a 500-acre farm in the Snake River Valley.
My memories of home include windy summers when, at night, the Milky Way was a gossamer scarf thrown against the night sky, and the only sounds you could hear were cattle lowing, and the distant pop of sprinklers in the fields.
Winters were icy cold.  Snow days were common, as storms blanketed the fields in white, and the winds blew the snow across the roads in drifts several feet deep.
