Space stations has their uses, but sometimes, a more firm base of operations is called for. The answer to the Moon mission was the construction of Moon base Lunar Viking. A collection of domed habitations interconnected by travel tubes with magnetic propulsion was designed by a team of brilliant Scandinavian Engineers. One center dome with the fusion core and the communication array, and five satelite domes with habitats, gardens, workshops and recreational facilities.
The project met with some difficulties at the start, but once the construction of the Moon Shuttle in the factories of the space station was finished, it become much easier and cost efficient to transport the material needed for the base down to the moon. Once the factories comes online, the need to transport materials to the base from earth deposits, will be unneccesary.
The next project will be the Luna City, where hotels and offices will be built, to facilitate tourists and corporations to visit and even start a new life in the off-world colonies. This project will be the next large goal for the Scandinavian Space Agency after the Ares I mission to Mars. And in the future, Ares II, the Mars colony awaits.
