Synopsis:
007:
Everything or Nothing
finally brings Bond away
from the first-person "Doom" style of video games and into a world
where he can show off all of his skills, not just his exemplary
marksmanship. Using the third-person, over-the-shoulder style
popularized by the "Tomb Raider" series, Everything or
Nothing is presented in the same style as if it were a new
Bond
film. Pierce Brosnan supplies the voice of Bond, the
first
time a video game has used the authentic 007's voice. The
attention to detail does not stop there. Electronic Arts went
out
of their way to make this game something special. John
Cleese, Willem Dafoe, Dame Judi
Dench, Shannon Elizabeth, Richard Kiel, and
Heidi Klum all provide their acting talents to the game. Pop/R&B
singer Mya performs the theme song and also voices a character within
the game. All of the characters voiced by the afore mentioned
actors and actresses were modeled to look like their real-life
counterparts.
The game ties into the film series by linking Willem Dafoe's character
- "Nikolai Diavolo" to Max Zorin (thee villian in A View to a Kill).
Diavolo was also an ex-KGB agent who worked for Zorin until
Bond
exercised his license to kill on "Mad Max". Bond must stop
Diavolo from using nanotechnology (microscopic robots) for his evil
purposes. Jaws also makes a return appearance in Everything or Nothing.
While most of the game is spent guiding Bond in the "over-the-shoulder"
mode, there are some driving levels where you control Bond on
motorcycles or in a Porsche.
