Hi there ! Welcome to my little corner on the web. My name is Chris and I`m a 21 year
old dude from Malta (A tiny island in the Mediterranean
sea between Libya and Sicily). About myself, I`ve got two younger brothers and at the moment I`m finishing
a 4 year degree in Information Technology at the University
of Malta. In my free time, I like playing and following football, listening to music, going to the movies and surfing and chatting on the net. My favourite football teams are Valletta F.C. and Inter F.C. Being a great fan of Italian football I also follow closely the Italian national team. Other teams I enjoy watching play are Barcelona, Ajax and Arsenal. As regard to music, my favourite bands are Nirvana, Oasis, Foo Fighters, Alanis Morissette, Radiohead and Travis. Any kind of rock music will do, Alternative, Punk, Heavy Metal, Mainstream. Make sure you check out my Nirvana page! My all time favourite movies are : Independence Day, Armageddon, Clockwork Orange, Braveheart, Forrest Gump, Schlinder's List, Saving Private Ryan, Rocky 1 and Leon. My all time heroes ? Michael Jordan, Kurt Cobain, Ayrton Senna and Ronaldo. Other things I like or enjoy: Waking up at 2:00pm on Sunday after a night out with my friends. Scoring the decisive goal in a football match a few seconds from time. The feeling you get when you write down the last word of your last exam after a week full of exams. Playing my air-guitar. Going around in my car on a sunny afternoon while listening to the radio. Travelling and exploring new worlds. Watching TV knowing you`ve got tons of important work to finish. Driving full speed ahead in the empty streets at 4:00am. Sitting round a fire after a b-b-q listening to a couple of jokes and stories while driniking a bottle of wine. Watching the sunset over the horizon. Celebrating in the streets after assisting Italy win a World Cup match. Sleeping on the hot sand near the sea on a hot summer day. Enjoying two pints of beer after a gym workout or a football match. Helping others. Honest and open-minded people that know how to enjoy life. Loads of other things which are too personal to write over here. Things I don't like: Studying. Most of my lecturers at University. Arrogant and selfish people. Violence and war. The feeling you get when you know you`ve done something really wrong. Going to bed knowing that another boring day is ahead of you. Waking up early in the morning realising you`re still alive! Going to work in summer instead of enjoying ypur cocktail by the beach. Boybands and other bullshit you get on MTV most of the time. The old mentality and close mindedness a lot of people in Malta have. Going back home after university after 3pm and knowing that you`ve got lots of things to study. The lack of a real musical culture in Malta. Bad weather in weekends. When my favourite teams loose vitaly important games. Things I`d like to do: Stage diving at the Reading Festival (England) after a handshake with the Gallagher Bros (Oasis). Bungee Jumping from the Eiffel Tower. Playing 15 mins with Ronaldo in the forward line, infront of 80,000 spectators in the Milan Derby Inter vs Milan ..... perhaps scoring with a blistering shot from way outside the penalty area. Have a 3-some with Jenny Mcarthy and Carmen Electra. Drive a Ferrari F-40 at 250 Km/hr on a highway somewhere in the US, while I rush to be on time for my meeting with the president. Have an enormous salary that would allow me to go abroad on holiday 3 times a year. Go on a cruise with all my mates. See Italy win the World Cup and Inter the Champs League with myself present at the stadium. Spend a night playing and winning money in one of Las Vegas` Casinos and later celebrating in my 5-star hotel room with a couple of chicks.
