NBC has decided to delay production on "Tikiville" until midseason. Although Rob Estes had recently been cast as the male lead, producers were having trouble landing the right leading actress for the comedy.

Tikiville: Comedy Studio: 20th Century Fox Television and Three Sisters Producers: Dottie Dartland-Zicklin, Jim Burrows and Jamie Tarses Premise: A 30-year-old single mom's life is interrupted when the father of her son returns. Stars: Rob Estes ("Melrose Place")

If there's a writer and/or actor strike, the midseason may be the new season. And I wonder whether Josie Bissett read for the leading lady part.
