 Produção cinematográfica a ser a única continuação de
um episódio da TV, chamado "Semente do Espaço"(Space Seed) onde vemos o legado
da nave Botany Bay. A história se desenrola sobre um projeto científico entitulado
"Genesis", e a vingança obcecada de Khan; Kirk descobre ter um filho e Spock
lamentavelmente morre, sob exposição a radiação.
A trilha sonora é tanto emotiva quanto empolgante, como exemplo o tema de
"Spock"e "Battle in the Mutara Nebula".
No epílogo temos o Sr. Spock falando.
