Well lots of Kimberly fans hope that our favourite Sexy Physco will return, and here are their various theories:

Anne Marcusson suggests the following posibilities:

1. Kim's mother made her fake her death again (don't ask how). She returns when she recovered from the tumor.

2. Kim has a (evil) twin sister who comes to MP (to destroy Michaels life).

3. Kim WAS her own evil twin! You see, it could have happened like this: Kim's twin sister, K2 was the one who killed Henry the evil gardener when she was eight. After that, she went insane and was eventually locked up in an asylum. She run away and took shelter with Kim in the beginning of season two, jus when Kim had discovered that Michael slept with Sydney. Kim had decided to leave L.A, but she asked K2 to go out to dinner with Michael and pretend she was Kim to humiliate him. Off course, the plan went wrong. K2 ended up in a coma and Kim ended up in the asylum since everyone thought she was K2. The mix-up wasn't discovered until season four, when mrs Shaw realised that since 'Kim' was haunted by memories of Henry she must really be K2. She decided not to do anything about it, but with K2 finally dead, she will get Kim released from the asylum. Kim will fight to get her real identity, medical licence etcetera back and this will eventually bring her back to MP, where she just might get the idea to destroy Michaels life...

4. A woman who looks exactly like Kim but has no other connection to her arrives to MP and breaks up Michael's marriege to whoever he happens to be married to at the time. (She could eventually turn out to be 1,2 or 3)

two ways to get 'Kimberly' back without bringing back Marcia Cross:

1. While going through Kim's things at the beach house, Megan finds 'Betsy's' chlothes and foolishly enough tries them on. The next time we see her she's at a tupperware party...(alternative version: Megan finds Kimberly's wig)

2. Nine months after Kim's death, Megan and Michael have a baby girl with eyes who are VERY far apart. The child turns out to have supernatural powers and uses them to set her parents furniture on fire. Michael leaves. Megan looks confused. (This is pretty unrealistic. They seldom have kids on MP.)

S. Ignatius sent me the following theory:

My guess on the story is, Marion, Kim's mom drugged Kimberly so Michael would think she's dead and she could take Kim back ot Ohio and she would be out of Michael's life forever. When Michael opened kimberly's coffin I noticed her eyes moving and I wasn't even looking for it. OK, this is what I think should happen. Early next season a new doctor comes to Wilshire Memorial and at first she seems shy and innocent. She secretly does evil things to destroy Megan's marriage to Michael like contaminating Megan's pregnancy tests to make it look Michael isn't the father when he really is, then they get into a huge fight and they separate. At the end of an episode the mysterious doctor is standing in front of a mirror and she slowly takes off her wig revealing a scarred head with short hair, she then takes off her mask and, you guessed it, its KIMBERLY. I know it will never happen but I think that would be a great story, what do you think?

Many people have also e-mailed me saying that they saw a twitch in Kimberly's eye as Michael was kissing her body good-bye.
