Here's the plaque that describes a bit of the history of Mount Bonnell.
More of the city skyline. I don't know why I take pictures like this.
Me and my internet-paranoid friend. I was showing him and his girlfriend around Austin that day. Lucky me I get the sun in my eyes.
A view south towards the dam. No boats out today.
The hill across the lake. This was the sunniest part of the sky at the time.
A sample of the lake front houses. I'll have to buy me one of those. I wonder what happens if the water rises too fast?
Look at me! I'm standing on Mount Bonnell! You can see the 360 bridge in the background.
Time to go home.
The old Mount Bonnell sign carved from a rock. I guess there's just something traditional about it that causes the city to keep it around.
Ah, the Austin Skyline. You can see the UT Tower on the left, but the Capital is behind one of those buildings.
Yes, even MORE Skyline! Actually it's more like a picture of the trees in front of the skyline.
That's the Loop 360 Bridge in the distance. It's a big symbol of Austin (apparently), so I took myself a photograph of it.
Nice Purple Flowers. I didn't take time to stop and smell them. They ain't no roses.
A few of the higher (priced) houses that sit atop Mount Bonnell.
OOOoo, Garbage cans. I personally didn't dispose of anything here, but sometimes I wish I had.
One of the paths leading to the top. Lots of stairs. Gotta be careful when they're wet.
