The Beach

We rented a beach house for a week in the small coastal city of Sabunike. The whole town is just little beach houses that are only open in the summer. A couple little shops kept food on the table, but it was mainly just a week for relaxing and getting some sun and sand.

A view of the beach house we rented. We had the bottom half, another group had the top.
10 people + 1 bathroom = No Hot Water

This was the outskirts of the beach town we stayed in. The center of town isn't any bigger.

Here's another little beach we found that you wouldn't want to go swimming in. But it was interesting, so I took some pictures.

Here's the same little coast at sea level.

Everyone goes to the beach to relax. Relax and... strike a pose!

Here is what we call "faking a good body by sucking in the gut."

Mr. Shucap wasn't the tallest man around, but he always looked good for the ladies.

We all went to Zadar one night just to get away from the beach.

Another view of the beach house.

There was a little city across the bay from us. We probably went there, but we never looked back this direction.

This was the view everytime we went to the beach. Nothing like this in Texas, that's for sure.

I claim this land in the name of Luke. I will return someday to plant a flag and set up a beach resort.

What do you do when you have a beach house for a weekend? You play cards on the porch! At least I learned how to play Bella.

The girls go wild for this one.

I did have to get some sleep. One can only lay on the beach so long.
