ABOUT THE SHOW:

"Babes" was a sitcom about three large sisters living together in a
Manhattan studio apartment.  Early shows featured numerous fat jokes,
but these were reduced as the seriees progressed.

"Babes" was a Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation production.

Charlene's night of romance is interrupted Darlene, who is feeling the
sting of her rocky marriage, and Marlene, who lost her job collecting
tolls to a machine.

7E01.  "Bend Me, Shape Me"  20 September 1990

Charlene convinces her sisters to join a health club but is ready to
give up when two reed-thin women make fun of them.

In an attempt to help Darlene get over her husband, Wilbur, Charlene

7E04.  "The One Where Charlene Meets Ronnie's Mother"  11 October 1990

Darlene's soon-to-be-ex-husband, Wilbur, demands spousal support as
part of the divorce settlement.

7E05.  "No Regrets"  25 October 1990

The sisters do some soul searching after suffering a series of
accidents.

NOTE:  At this point, the series moved to Sunday nights at 9:30 p.m.,
       but LOCIS claims these shows really aired on Thursdays.  As a

7E07.  "Dream Vacation"  28 October 1990

The girls end up in a "Fantasy Island" nightmare when they visit a
tropical vacation resort, Club Cabo, which ends up being a rundown
outpost, run by a tacky showman (Cesar Romero), with a lecherous
dwarf as an assistant.

Charlene interferes and gets Marlene fired as the Hefty Hose girl.
Marlene then goes on soap opera casting calls, which she finds to be
no picnic.

7E08.  "The Thanksgiving Show"  18 November 1990

The girls dread the start of the "eating season" and agree to go cold
turkey by not preparing a Thanksgiving meal but do intend to make it
the best holiday ever for a homeless orphan.

While Ronnie is away at the Great American Rib-Off, the sisters try to
keep business booming at his rib joint.

The sisters convince the other tenants of their apartment building to go

title to the building has been transferred to them.

A handsome, civic-minded man convinces Charlene that jury is not a bad
thing and that her aggressive approach to getting a man may not be the
best method.
