Now, Voyagers!

My friend and I think that the TV show “Voyagers!” is very good and interesting.
Recently we’ve heard that it will soon go off the air and we are very disappointed. Why is the show falling? Or is it?
Was it because of the bad ratings? Or because the people don’t like the show at all?
Personally, we think Jon (Erik Hexum, the shows star) is superfine and a great actor! What do you think?

Since you ask, we like Jon-Erik Hexum just fine (including when he was playing himself in a charming, funny fashion on the daytime series “Just Men”), and the show is both dumb and entertaining, as it’s supposed to be.

As this is written, “Voyagers!” is still with us. We hear from Jon-Erik’s cousin Eric Paulsen (yes, THAT Eric Paulsen) that Jon-Erik has gotten a phone call of support from NBC chief Grant Tinker, despite low ratings (a 10.0 rating and a 16 share for the season so far) opposite top-rated “60 Minutes.”

We also hear that the shows are costing almost a million dollars an hour (!), so “Voyagers!” may travel to a new timeslot or Never-Neverland, depending on what NBC decides. Prospects don’t look good, but NBC plans to announce the new season in early May; stay tuned.
