                Part 1: Hate-Letters
***********************************************************

Eudial stared out of the window.
The room she was in was dark and the bright light coming
from the window was hurting her eyes.
And there, just in front of her, she could see the house at
665 Silver Shadow lane, Eugeal's house.
The witch bit her lip in sorrow. No, it wasn't Eugeal's
house anymore. Now it was just a empty house.
She couldn't stand that sight. She closed her eyes and
leant the forehead against the glass. It was cold. Her
heart was cold.
"We always fought," she thought "she tried to turn me into
a monster and she kept calling me Eudy...When she arrived
in Net.tokyo, brought troubles with her...but I never could
hate her. She is...she was my family. And now she's dead.
She died to save Net.tokyo...and I feel so lonely!"
"Eudial..."
The witch startled when a hand touched her shoulder.
She wiped off tears almost with rage, then she turned.
"Wendy..."
"Eudial, please come to lunch. It's two days you don't come
out of your room. You'll fall ill if you don't eat..." the
girl said.
"As if I care..." Eudial sighed and stared out of the
window again.
Wendy grabbed her arm and forced the witch to turn.
"You should. We're all worried for you!"
Eudial looked at Wendy and noticed that the girl's eyes
were filled with tears.
She hugged Wendy.
"Oh Wen-chan! I miss her so much!"
"I know. I miss her too."
Eudial sobbed.
"It's all my fault!" she cried "I could stop her and I
didn't! And now she's dead!"
"Eudial, it's not your fault! You couldn't imagine she was
going to shield Sailor Saturn's power."
Eudial shook her head.
"If only I were faster..."
"It's very sad, but we can't change what happened..."
"She's dead, Wendy! Dead!"
 Wendy looked very sad.
"Yes, she's dead. But you are alive, Eudial."
The witch didn't answer.
"Silver is downstairs. He's waiting for you. Why don't you
go and see him? I'm sure you'll feel better."
Eudial nodded and began walking towards the door, the she
suddenly stopped and stared at Wendy.
"Where is Hiryu? He should be even more desperate than
me..."
"I don't know. No one saw him after Eugeal's death. His
spaceship is empty and he seems to be disappeared. Why
don't you go to search him with Silver?"
"Maybe I'll do...Thank you Wendy."

Meanwhile, in an alley of Net.tokyo, a passer-by fell to
the ground, unconscious, obviously drained of his energy. A
shadowed woman laughed and walked away.

"Where do you think we can find him?" Silver asked.
"I've no idea, Sil, we searched him in his space ship but
Hiryu wasn't there...The neighbors said that they heard
someone ringing the doorbell, but they only found his
hedgehogs with a note asking to take care of them... I'm
worried for him..." Eudial said "Oh! Hi Christine!" *1
The girl stared at the witch and her eyes filled with
tears.
"I'm so sorry, Eudial..." she whispered and ran away.
Silver and Eudial sweatdropped.
"Strange girl..."

"I'm back!"
The mysterious woman opened the door of the room.
She walked out of shadows, revealing herself to be a nice
young woman with blue eyes and blue straight hair with
blonde streaks.
Two other women rose their heads from the sheets they were
reading and waved at the sister.
"Hi Iry"
The girl who talked was identical to Iry except for the
color of her hair that was blonde with blue streaks. The
other woman had dark violet air with a few pink streaks.
She stood up.
"So, how is human beings' energy?" she asked with a greedy
look in her eyes.
"Is it good for us?"
The first woman looked at the twin sister "Lalia..." she
turned at the other sister "Ikari..." she grinned "Why
don't you taste it yourselves?"
She rose a hand and her sisters noticed that she was
holding two letters. She threw one to each of the girls.
Lalia and Ikari ripped the envelopes and beams of energy
entered their bodies.
The two girls smiled.
"Hey! That's great!"
"We can conquer this planet then!"
"Of course." Iry grinned "And I dare anyone to recognize
our spaceship now that it's disguised as a post office!"
They began laughing maniacally.
"MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! NO ONE CAN DEFEAT THE NEGA-
MAIL!!!!!!"
"I've a question...." Lalia said. "Why we chose this city
to begin taking over planet Earth?"
Ikari grinned and held a book. "Very simple. It's written
here, in the 'Newbie's manual to take over a planet':
'Net.tokyo is the most defenseless city on planet Earth: we
suggest that world-conquerors wannabe should begin taking
over that city'"
"Hey! Isn't that a very old edition of that book? What if
another world-conqueror wannabe had the same idea?" Iry
said.
Ikari sweatdropped. "It's not very probable, but we can
check it on the computer..."
She sit in front of the computer and on the monitor a big
map of Net.tokyo appeared.
The girl smiled. "In a few seconds, the parts of the city
recently attacked by a monster will enlighten..."
She pressed a button and the whole map enlightened.
The three girls fell down.
Ikari laughed nervously. "Computers! You can never trust
them!"
Iry looked at the sister. "Now I have a question. What
about the new Mailbox? Is she ready?"
The other girls shook their heads.
"Not yet, but she will soon."
Iry nodded.
"Very well. We'll use her in our next attack."

"EUDY! EUDY!" Idea arrived running. "LUCKILY I FOUND
YOU!!!!"
Eudial took a mallet and whacked the dog.
Silver sweatdropped.
"This will teach him that no one calls me Eudy..." she
stopped and sighed.
Silver looked at her.
"What's up honey?"
"Eugeal won't call me Eudy anymore..." she tried to wipe
out a tear, but another followed "I'm so stupid...weeping
is useless, but I can't stop..."
Silver hugged her.
"It's not useless, cry if you want to, you'll feel better
after..."
The witch leaned her head on his shoulder.
Silver gently caressed her hair.
Idea licked Eudial's hand and yelped.
The witch startled and stopped crying.
"Hey, Idea, what's the important thing you had to tell us?"
The dog sweatdropped.
"Oh, yeah, right! I found Hiryu!"
"Really?! Where is he?!"
"Follow me."

After a while...
Eudial and Silver sweatdropped.
"WHAT?! A POUND?!"
Idea nodded. "I'm sure he's there. I'll wait you here...I
prefer staying far from certain places..."
Eudial and Silver entered the building.
A man walked towards them.
"Hello! Are you searching for a pet? We have dogs and cats
ready to be adopted..."
"Actually we're searching for a little blue haired
alien...we heard he's here..." Silver said.
The man sweatdropped. "Oh, so that little being is an
alien? I couldn't understand what breed of cat he was...Oh,
well, follow me. I hope you know how to cheer that kitty
up. We found him a few days ago and he still didn't eat
anything..."
"I wonder why Hiryu let the dog-catcher to get him and why
he didn't try to set him free..." Silver whispered to
Eudial.
The witch shook her head.
The man opened a cage. "Here, you can take him..."
The little alien was sitting in a corner of the cage,
staring in the void.
Eudial called him.
Hiryu didn't move.
"KITTY!" Eudial yelled.
The little alien didn't even seem to notice her.
The witch sighed and carefully took him in her hands.
"He's still shocked. Poor Hiryu..."
Silver put a hand on her shoulder.
"It will be better to go back to the temple now..."

Meanwhile, in the Nega Post Office...
"Brainwasher disconnected" Iry said.
"Healing procedure 100% complete" Lalia turned off a
machine.
"Welcome in the Nega-Mail, Shin-E"
A naked woman walked out of the healing machine. Her red
hair was loose and it shadowed her face.
She moved a hand and a black uniform appeared on her body.
"Mailbox Shin-E at your command." The woman said, then she
laughed wickedly *2

Back at the temple, Hiryu was sleeping.
In his dreams, Eugeal was smiling at him. Then she began to
run away laughing. He tried to reach her, but he couldn't
move. Eugeal disappeared.
Hiryu opened his eyes screaming.
He looked at the woman who was in front of him and his eyes
widened. He sat on the bed all of a sudden.
"Eugeal!" he cried and was about to jump on the person who
was near the bed, but he looked better at her and stopped.
"No..." he whispered "It's only Eudial..."
The witch looked at him. She touched his hair.
"Hiryu..."
The little alien sobbed.
"You look so similar to her...It's no fair..."
Eudial nodded.
"You're right, Hiryu, it's no fair."

*1 this story takes place before Nightman's story, so
nobody knows Sailor Saturn's true identity yet.

*2 A Mailbox is anyone (monster or human) who collects
energy for the Negamail Sisters. The energy is closed in
the Letters that the sisters store in the Nega Post Office,
so they can use it when they need more power.
