November 30, 2008. Eric has been busy and it is hard to keep up with all of the films listed in the IMDB. Eric's new movie Cyclops will be on the SciFi channel next Saturday. He stars as the evil emperor Tiberius. The movie was filmed at Nu Boyana studios in Sofia, Bulgaria, on the full-scale Roman set built for the USA network movie Spartacus. Roger Corman's Cyclops teaser is on YouTube.
October 14, 2008. I was alerted by a fan that I missed seeing Eric on Entourage in episode 5 of the 5th season, entitled ?Tree Trippers." If you don't get HBO, there are usually clips posted at the Entourage website.
September 10, 2008. Eric Roberts, Val Kilmer, Armand Assante, Megan Brown and Patrick Muldoon are currently filming The Steam Experiment in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The film is about six people who are trapped and terrorized in an Turkish bathhouse. Kilmer plays the former university professor holding the group hostage as part of an experiment to prove that humanity will devolve into anarchy with the onset of global warming.
August 8, 2008. We must thank Steve for letting us know that he saw Eric filming on the Heroes set today. That means that Eric will definately be back next season.
July 20, 2008. Eric will guest star on one of the first 8 episodes of The Cleaner. The series is set in Los Angeles and stars Benjamin Bratt. The pilot aired on Tuesday, July 15 at 10:00pm (eastern time) on A&E. Benjamin Bratt was quoted saying "A lot of these guest stars are coming on as addicts and the people in need, and when you're asked to play someone that's at their very bottom, that's a pretty hard role to play. So we're asking a lot of guest actors, and everyone who has showed up so far is really nailing it."
In June Eric starred in the second episode of the new series Fear Itself. Watch for the episoed in reruns. The title of that episode was "Spooked."
I'm sorry that I have not been updating this web page like I used to. I have had cancer for a year and a half and have not been able to do everything that I used to do.

May 4, 2007. Lisa spotted this news at the Heros web site. Eric will be in Dark Knight the Batman sequel due out in the summer of 2008. He has scenes with both Christian Bale (Batman) and Heath Ledger (The Joker).
April 2007. Kelli alerted us that when Eric was in NYC over the weekend his picture was taken with fans and they are posted at the Chiller Theater web site. Look at Zones of Evil and Simon Hancock.
Thanks to everyone for their prayers and good wishes when I was in the hospital in January and March. I never expected those funny patches in my mouth were cancer because I'm not a smoker. If you have any of these symptoms, don't put off seeing a dentist or oral surgeon.
Feb. 22, 2007. There is a great web site for the German-produced film in which Eric played a lawyer. One Way primiered 25 January. There are apparently both English and German versions out there. Does anybody know anybody who has seen it?
Jan. 24, 2007. Lisa couldn't wait to email me when she heard the news! Eric will be on the NBC new hit series, Heroes in February. He will play a character named Thompson who hangs out with HRG. It is not clear if he will be in most episodes or only a few. There is a possibility that he will be a villain. Will he be the mysterious HRG's boss?
Jan. 2, 2007. It seems like Eric just keeps making movies that I'll never get to see! The new Russian/Ukrainian film Aurora that was released in November is available on DVD but not in the U.S. You can see photos of Eric in the film at the Kinoman web site.
I thought I heard that Eric was going to appear in the film Hollywood Dreams but he is not in the film credits at IMDB. I do see Keaton Simons in the credits.
Eric is also in the 22 minute short film Spit.
