Some other theaters

Photo of Dayton Drive-in, of Dayton. Map of theater.

Entrance and ticket booth to the Dayton, by Ray Brown

Map of Sky-Vu Theater in Walla Walla. Photo of site (rows faintly visible). (Update: field is still there undeveloped, but small signs the size of "No Parking" signs say "No Tresspassing." I think the land is owned by the adjacent Municipal Airport.)

Map of Sky-Vue Theater in Omak, and photo (faint outline).

Map of Ellen Theater, Ellensburg. A correspondent tells me this site is actually to the west of the Bi-Mart. Compare the map with the photo and you can see an oval feature in the parking lot similar to the way the screen is circled by a road in the map.

Map of Basin Drive-in, Moses Lake (south), 1955 capacity 284. (photo of site)
Update: I visited this place in early October. It's now the backlot behind a truck stop. I thought I could see faint row humps, but the trucks have really changed this gravel lot.

Map of Cascade Theater, Yakima (west of the Fruitvale Tripple). Update: houses have been built here, though the drive-in trees seemed to have survived, and trace out the old property.

Terraserver photo of theater site. Arrows point to the tree shadows visible in the photo, and point to the screen corner. Circled on the photo is a building placed at an angle, and about the same location as the snack bar. Did they preserve the building, or just build there to use existing utilities?

Here is the mystery building in the back of the Cascade theater, complete with mansard roof. It could be the original building.

Map of Tower Drive-In, Union Gap, as it appears next to a shopping mall. Now there is an indoor multiplex nearby, while the exact site of the Tower is an Eagle Hardware.

Top-Hi, Toppenish.

Map of theater in Clarkston.

Map of Deer Drive-In, Deer Park, and photo of what could possibly be row landscaping still visible more recently.
