~ Rachel dropped Monica's engagment ring down the sink but it
was saved
~ Monica dressed the ducks up as kids
Scene 1
:: Central Perk ::
The gang minus Phoebe is sitting in the CP as usual when Phoebe walked
in
with a handsome guy.
" Hey hey hey..." Phoebe says, holding his hand. Everyone looks over in
shock.
" This is Mike, Mike this is everyone!" Phoebe smiles.
" Hi...everyone..." Mike smiles.
" Oh my god....you're you're you're...." Chandler studders.
" I'm Phoebe's boyfriend.." Mike says to Chandler, notifying him that
she
doesn't know he is famous. They sit.
" So...Mike did you say you're name was?" Ross jokes, " What do you do
for a
living?"
" Well, I'm really into sports so I make a career out of that..." Mike
says.
" So so uh......do you guys want to come up for dinner?" Monica says,
staring
at Mike. Phoebe looks at him.
" That sounds great to me, how bout you honey?" he asks her.
" That's good. Well, we're gonna go for a walk in the park.......see
you
later.." Phoebe says, leaving with Mike's arm around her.
" Oh my god....." everyone minus Joey says.
" What?" Joey wonders.
" Do you know who that was!?!?" Ross cries.
" Yea...Mike. Phoebe's boyfriend....dont you guys listen?" Joey says,
laughing.
" Dude, do you ever watch baseball games?" Chandler wonders.
" No....I dont enjoy men in tight pants as much as you do." he laughs.
" That was Mike Piazza.....the baseball player...NY Mets..." Ross
explains.
" Mike Pi.......OHMYGOD!!! Why didnt you tell me!?!??!" Joey cries.
" He is sooo sexy..." Rachel says, her and Monica in their own world.
Chandler and Ross jump up.
" Are you kidding? He's all....fat and stuff...." Ross says.
" Sweety, that's called muscle..." Rachel smiles.
" You dont think he's sexy right?" Chandler says, hugging Monica.
" Who doesn't?" Monica laughs. Chandler backs away. " Well, you never
take me
for walks in the park!!" she adds.

Scene 2
:: Dinner ::
Right before dinner, Chandler is watching TV when Joey comes out of his
room
in a baseball uniform and a mit.
" How do I look?" Joey asks, smiling.
" Like a freakshow..." Chandler says, getting up. "What are you doing?"
" Listen, I have no job. Maybe if I can convince Mike that I can play
ball,
he'll get me hooked up with the team!" Joey says.
" Oh yea sure I mean, you dont even watch the game but I'm sure Mike
Piazza
will ask you to join his team...." Chandler says sarcastically.
" Well well well.....shut up man..." Joey says. " Are we leaving?"
" Joey, we have an hour..." Chandler says.
" I know I know..." Joey pauses. " I cant sit in these pants so can we
please
go over there now??"
" No Joe you go....Monica's too busy looking at like, Mike Piazza's ass
to
even call me..." Chandler says. Ross enters then.
" What's up guys........" Ross says, he freezes when he sees Joey. " No
Joey
we can't play ball in the house...." he jokes.
" Shut up dinosaur man.." Joey snaps.
" I was just over there and they cant stop talking about Piazza...."
Ross
says, sitting in the other chair.
" What is that about?" Chandler wonders, facing Ross.
" I dont know I mean, they claim to love us but suddenly other guys are
sexy?
Why are woman like that?" Ross wonders.
" Hey, you got me. I know nothing about woman. Except the whole baby
thing..." Chandler thinks.
" Yea that too I mean. Why do they want to go threw 9 months of hell
followed by 18 years of annoyance? Geez...." Ross laughs.
" I dont! Monica keeps trying to convince me of the good like, how my
name
will be carried on..." Chandler says.
" I know.....Rachel isn't too eager to start a family. I mean, having
Ben is
great but if we get married, we need a little time alone..." Ross says.
" Oh dont worry, Monica will probably want a honeymoon baby!" Chandler
laughs,
" Dont laugh man cause I think she's got it all planned!" Ross says.
" That is unless she is married to Mike because of his.....muscles.."he
says
in an obnoxious voice. Ross laughs.
Scene 3
:: Dinner ::
Ross, Joey, and Chandler get there before Mike and Phoebe arrive.
" Joey, you look so silly...go home and change!" Monica says.
" No come on!! I rented this!" Joey whines.
" Oh let him Monica, what are you afraid Mike won't pay enough attention
to
you??" Chandler wonders. Monica stops cooking and looks at him and
smiles.
" You're jealous because I have a silly crush on Mike Piazza??" Monica
says.
" Oh it's a crush??" Chandler cries.
" Come on, like you wouldn't drool is Yasmine Bleeth walked threw that
door..." Monica laughs.
" No...no i wouldn't. Because I am engaged..." Chandler says.
" Quit the act man, you know you would. I would too.." Joey smiles.
Phoebe
knocks.
" Come on, cut it out you 2. We have company..." Rachel says, opening
the
door. For a minute she just looks at Mike and then shakes out of her
gaze. " Oh hey hey come in..." she smiles.
" Hey guys..." Mike smiles.
" Joey? What are you wearing?!" Phoebe cries.
" Just a baseball uniform....ya know, for no reason.." Joey smiles.
" Oh Phoebe knows I play for the METS now......when I first told her
though
she thought I knew Snoopy from the MET Life commercials.." he jokes.
" Oh that's so great...." Rachel says. They sit in the livingroom and
Monica
fluffs and pillow for Mike.
" Would you like a drink, a snack...." Monica offers.
" Yea sure a drink would be great..." he smiles.
" Beer?" she wonders.
" No no liquor for me. Coke is great if you have it..." he says.
Monica
goes into the kitchen and Rachel jumps up and follows.
" Oh my god are you totally dying!?" Rachel says, grabbing Monica's arm.
" I am I am....I feel 16 all over again....he's just so so so so..."
Monica
repeats.
" So perfect..." Rachel sighs. Then they both sigh.
" Yea but I kinda feel bad for Chandler and Ross...." Monica smiles a
little.
" They dont get it....who cares though! Oh my god...imagine if like,
they
got married!?!" Rachel cries. Monica smiles and pours him his soda.
Rachel
adds a little straw. They sit again.
" So are you guys up to it??" Mike finishes his question as Mon and
Rachel
sit.
" Up to what??" Monica wonders.
" Mike wanted to know if you guys wanna have a little baseball game in
the
park tomorrow morning...." Phoebe smiles.
" Sure.." the guys say.
" We'll be there.." Monica speaks for Rachel and her.
" That's great...." Mike says. Mike tells some more baseball stories
and
then they eat and Phoebe and Mike leave. Joey goes home to change.

Scene 4
:: The Next Morning ::
The gang meets down in Central Park at a field all ready to play.
" Ok we have 7 of us but I'll play for both teams since I'm only catcher
so
you split up..." Mike tells them.
" Ok, how about boys against girls?" Chandler suggests.
" Yes that worked in 4th grade but now.....I dont think so.." Rachel
laughs.
" Ok so Monica, me, and Joey..." Ross says. " Hey, were is Joey?"
They look out of the field. "All Star" by Smashmouth plays as they show
seens of Joey trying to show off for Mike. Mike pitches a ball to him
and
Joey gets hit in the head, Joey tries to catch a fly ball and trips over
a
woman and her dogs, then they show Joey trying to catch and everytime
the
ball hits him, he falls backwards.
Joey runs over to Mike who takes his catchers mask off.
" So, what do you think??" Joey smiles.
" Uh...I think you might have a chance...." Mike smiles, patting him on
the
back.
" Ok and Phoebe, Chandler and Rachel on one team. Let's go....
They start to play and Monica hits the first ball and makes it to
homebase
and Phoebe tags her out. Monica begins her obsessiveness.
" No way!! I was on that base!! Chandler tell her I was on that base!?!"
she
cries.
" You're out...." Chandler shruggs.
" Mike!? Come on!! I quit then!!" Monica says. Mike walks over to her
and
puts his arm around her. He tells her something and she smiles and
happily
walks back to the dugout.
" He probably promised to sleep with her tonite..." Chandler mumbles.
Rachel
keeps running from the ball and everyone is mad at her and she starts to
cry.
Mike walks over to her and tells her something and she stops. The game
ends
hours later at a tie.
" So what did Mr. Muscles tell you 2?" Ross wonders in the dugout.
" He told us that we were very lucky to have such great boyfriends and
if we
thought about them out there we wouldn't get all caught up in the
game...that's what he told us." Monica smiles.
" Really??" Chandler blushes.
" Man that guy is great..." Ross sighs.
Mike took them all out for lunch.
Scene 6
:: The Next Day ::
Phoebe entered Monica's apt sadly.
" What?? What happened!? Are you ok!?" Rachel cries.
" Yes....well...I am but....I dont know how you guys will take this
but..."
Phoebe says. Monica and Rachel are confused.
" I broke up with Mike...." she sighs. Rachel and Monica freeze.
" Why..." Monica wonders.
" Because....well, he's just too nice!! And he travels like, everyday.
It
would never work out..." Phoebe explains.
" Oh...." Rachel frowns, " Sorry Pheebs..."
" But he gave me his home phone...." she smiles.. Monica and Rachel
sigh.
" I think it's better for us too. Ross and Chandler were soo jealous!"
Monica
starts to laugh.
" I know! Well, you can't blame them!" Rachel says, " Mike is so so..."
" He's just a guy..." Phoebe says. Monica and Rachel look at her in
shock.
" Ok fine....he's 'just a guy'...." Rachel agrees.

Scene 7
:: TAG ::
Joey has a dream:
A now, pitching for the NY Mets, Mr. Joey Tribianni!! Joey goes running
onto
the field and people have banners with his name and are cheering for
him.
Mike is catching. Joey pitches a beautiful game and at the end, the
cast of
Baywatch runs towards him in their bathing suits. Then he hears Pamela's
voice, " Joey....Joey..Joey..." he suddenly is being shaken
He wakes up and Monica is shaking him.
" Joey...Joey.....we're going out for breakfast, you wanna come?" she
asks.
He looks at her in shock.
" Pamela!?!" he cries. Moncia is confused and Joey falls asleep again.
