Thanks for the site. It's hard to beleive there are all these old mice fans out there. Like many otehrs who have signed in, I was a HUGE fan in the 70's, and watched evvery day. I was really surprised to find your website. But more than that... I was surprised to see that you were from the same town and went to the same High School as I did. I didn't graduate the same year (my older sister did), but I graduated in '83. I spent MANY summer days at Disneyland with my tape recorder taping the shows and spent a lot of money on developing the many rolls of film I took of the Mouseketeers. I had my fav's (Kelly and Todd) but overall the show was something that I will never forget. I was very disappointed to hear about there being a new show already to air, and I felt "cheated" that I didn't even get the chance to audition! Well, it's been 22 years and I think I'm over it now. However... the memories that looking at these pictures bring back and how obsessed I was with meeting the Mouseketeers is unbelievable. I remember being 15 years old and rushing home to see the New Mickey Mouse Club! I truly loved the show. I bought the album ("It's Show Time" was my favorite song.) I will always have fond memories of the cast. I got to meet Lisa Whelchel when she was her in South Carolina a few years back, and remember meeting Kelly Parsons and took to liking her from the very start with her warm smile and friendliness. I'm still A VERY BIG FAN of the 70's and I went as a MOUSKETEER for Halloween this year. Now as an adu t, I still wish the show could be seen as re-runs. I hope the cast is doing well in their lives. The show taught me how to get over my shyness (I'm now the choragrapher for an NFL cheerleading squad)Thanks you all, you were there for me! -Gary

man! i , like alot of you , thought i was the only one who remembered and cherrished the 70's new mickey mouse club. I was 6 or 7 when it came out, and i imediatly became a mousketeer myself. I was 7 when it first year and I was a die hard fan of the show. My favorite Mousketeer was Mindy since she was the youngest and because she had to learn everything. Also my favorite episode is Climb on board where they all wore their play clothes and a ship floats down to pick up all the Mousketeers and their clothes change to their costumes.

I moved to Southern California July 1,1978 and took my first trip to Disneyland that summer. I was 22 back then and they did have lite beer Miller Lite was the only popular one at the time. I have a two year old son who went to Disneyland for the first time in 1998, he loves it so his mom got an annual pass and they have gone 7 times this year. One of the things that I looked for was information on the "New Mickey Mouse Club". I could 't find anything so I just figured that I must be one of the only souls out there who was interested in that show.
