#3 - Short and Sweet

The theme: Who says all short things are bad? (And would he repeat it where Spot can hear him? ;-) )

I want you to write a really short, but nevertheless complete, story. 2000 words or less, please. They story can be funn,y sad, romatic, full of suspense, or all of the above, your choice. :-)

It should NOT have major holes, or leave imprtant things unclear or only mentioned in apssing. Please chose a plot you can easily fit into the permitted number of words.
