Some Info on Tyler:

When Tyler Baker found out he got the part of Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital, he jumped up and down with excitement--right in the middle of a busy Los Angeles sidewalk. "People must of been wondering, "What's wrong with that guy?" he says and laughs. Hey everyone should be so "wrong" as to land the role of daytime drama by storm: He was voted one of the finest young actors of '96 by TV GUIDE. Through the hectic schedule of a daily show is tough, Tyler is up for it. "I love stepping outside of myself and becoming someone else-it doesn't seem like work to me, "she says the smoldering soap stud who grew up in a small town ouside Colombus, Ohio. The youngest of four children, he went to Ohio Weslyan University before moving to Los Angeles to get into acting. "I'm glad I have my small town morals and ethics about me,"says Tyler, who isn't hung up on his recent fame. "L.A. is really fast paced, lots of hustle and bustle. My perspective humbles the experience of what happens out here." A down-home kinda guy who likes to travel,Tyler spends his time off with his latest love in his life a chocolate labrador puppy he calls Chief. "I can him to the set, but he won't leave my side." If he were Chief we wouldn't want to either. (This was all from TEEN.)
