(Yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah)
(Yeah, yeah)

I opened up this here hist'ry book (wah-ooh)
And flipped my lid when I took a look (wah-ooh)
There on page two-nineteen was-a this here Egyptian queen (wah-ooh)
Although she lived in forty-four B.C (wah-ooh)
Cleopatra is the chick for me

I'm gonna build a time machine
So I can go back and make a scene
I'm gonna make some time with my Egyptian queen
In my little old time machine

Pretty soon I'll be makin' the gig (wah-ooh)
When I set the doodad on my thingamajig (wah-ooh)
I'm gonna crank and turn the dial (wah-ooh)
And, very soon, I'll be on the Nile (wah-ooh)
Holdin' hands with my Cleo kid (wah-ooh)
Sittin' in the shade of a peer-ee-mid

I'm gonna build a time machine
So I can go back and make a scene
I'm gonna make some time with my Egyptian queen
In my little old time machine

She got a Daddy rich as ole King Tut (wah-ooh)
I hear the mummy's all wrapped up (wah-ooh)
Got a room with diamonds on ev'ry shelf (wah-ooh)
When I walk in she'll say "Help yourself" (wah-ooh)
I'll fill my pockets and, after a while, (wah-ooh)
We'll make some time, nineteen six-oh style

I'm gonna build a time machine
So I can go back and make a scene
I'm gonna make some time with my Egyptian queen
In my little old time machine

  Oh, no-it's too late.
