You Really Got Me
The Kinks

Written by Ray Davies

Peaked at # 7 in 1964
The Kinks' first charted U.S. single and their third-biggest hit,
the title track from their 1964 debut album, featuring lead
singer/songwriter Ray Davies and his brother, lead guitarist Dave Davies.
Also their first #1 hit in their native Britain. Davies later revealed
in interviews that the song was loosely based on The Kingsmen's smash
1963 hit "Louie, Louie."

Girl, you really got me going
You got me so I don't know what I'm doin'
Yeah, you really got me now
You got me so I can't sleep at night
Yeah, you really got me now
You got me so I don't know what I'm doin'

Oh, yeah, you really got me now
You got me so I can't sleep at night
You really got me
You really got me
You really got me

Please don't ever set me free
I always wanna be by your side
Girl, you really got me now
You got me so I can't sleep at night
Yeah, you really got me now
You got me so I don't know what I'm doin'

Oh, yeah, you really got me now
You got me so I can't sleep at night
You really got me
You really got me
You really got me

 Oh!! All right!!

Please don't ever set me free
I always wanna be by your side
Girl, you really got me now
You got me so I can't sleep at night
Yeah, you really got me now
You got me so I don't know what I'm doin'

Oh, yeah, you really got me now
You got me so I can't sleep at night
You really got me
You really got me
You really got me
