---[ Mel Brooks ]---

Mel Brooks was born in the 1920'ies,
more exactly june 28 1926 as Melvin Kaminsky.
In the forties, when he was in the army stationed
in europe, he organized shows for his fellows.
To avoid confusion with Max Kaminsky, a famous
jazz trumpeteer, he changed his name.

---[ The Movies ]---

He has made some great movies through the years. The list would get too large
to write here but I can name some of the great movies here at least.
Blazing Saddles(1973): Hedley Lemar is trying to ruin a western town, because it's
in the way for the railroad. He appoints the town a black sheriff who soon becomes
his worst enemy. A must to see movie!
Young Frankenstein(1974): Dr. Frankenstein's grandson inherits his grandfathers
castle and when he finds his grandfathers book on how to reanimate a dead person
he starts to repeat his grandfathers horrorful experiments. The funniest horror movie.
To Be Or Not To Be(1983): A rather bad Polish actor is just trying to live when
second world war breaks out and now is trying to figure out a way for them to escape.
Spaceballs(1987): King Rolands daugther is kidnapped by the evil Spaceballs, who
want all the air on planet druidia. To rescue his daughter he contacts the space rogue
Lone Starr who sets out to rescue her. This movie has to be one of Mel Brooks best.
movie ever.
Life Stinks(1991): Goddard Bolt ,a rich businessman, makes a bet he can survive
for 30 days with no money on the streets of Los Angeles.
Robin Hood: Men in Tights(1993): A standard Robin Hood story with a lot of humor in it.
Not much else to say other than this like his other movies is a very funny one.
Dracula: Dead And Loving It(1995): This is very like Bram Stokers Dracula except that
this one is a lot more funnier with Leslie Nielsen as Dracula and Mel Brooks as
Dr. Van Helsing.
