Terry Alexander's gig on ABC's One Life To Live is unusual on two counts. "I've been acting professionally for over 20 years, but this is the first time I've ever played a girl-chaser," laughs Alexander, who previously played crimestopper Zack Richards on NBC's Another World. His OLTL character - lawyer-turned-police comissioner Troy Nicholls - is currently salivating for the sexy Sheila Price (played by Valarie Pettiford). But he's also a concerned widower with a college drop-out son. "It's rare to see a black father on TV who's trying to be an inspiration to his offspring," says Alexander, himself a divorced father. "Usually, it's the mother who provides the guidance, and the father is nowhere to be seen. It's great to be battling the stereotype."
