Nicolas CageBringing Out the Dead: The trailer for the new Martin Scorsese film Bringing Out the Dead is released. The film stars Nicolas Cage, Tom Sizemore, Patricia Arquette, John Goodman and Ving Rhames. A long, horrible 48 hours in the Hell's Kitchen district of New York City forces an ambulance paramedic (Cage) into a nervous breakdown, as he's plagued by the ghosts of those whose lives he couldn't save.

Get Carter : According to BBC, Miranda Richardson has joined the cast of the Sylvester Stallone film Get Carter. The movie is the remake of the 1971 Michael Caine film of the same name, Stallone plays a hitman who seeks revenge for his brother's murder. Richardson will play the dead brother's widow.

Matt DamonThe Third Wheel : Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will produce a romantic comedy named The Third Wheel. The film stars Denise Richards, Luke Wilson, Ben Affleck and Jay Lacopo. It is about an average guy who finally gets a date with the girl of his dreams only to discover that the couple must spend the night with an uninvited stranger.

Urban Legend 2 : Hollywood Reporter reports that former pop star and teen idol Joey Lawrence signed to star in Urban Legend 2. Lawrence will play a slick film student who feels pressured to follow in the footsteps of his famous film studio mogul father. John Ottman will make his directional debut. Shooting beginsnext month in Toronto.

Anthony HopkinsHannibal : According to Empire magazine Anthony Hopkins has confirmed, in a conversation with Access Hollywood, that he's ready to join Hannibal. Universal's rapidly developing sequel to The Silence of the Lambs. Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner) will direct the movie from a script by David Mamet. On the other side Jodie Foster is yet to say yes or no to the project.

Dr. T and the Women : According to Variety Laura Dern joined the cast of Dr. T and the Women. She will play a young mother of three who's dumped by her husband. Richard Gere, Helen Hunt, Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson also star in the movie.

Baby's in Black : Susan Sarandon is in talks to star in Baby's in Black for director Brad Silberling. Set in the early '70s, the film centers on a family unit cobbled together in the wake of a young woman's murder: her father, mother, and their son-in-law to be. Emotional chaos ensues when the young man slowly begins to fall for someone new while still living under their roof. Silberling wrote the script as his followup to City of Angels and wrote the main role with Sarandon in mind.

Leonardo DiCaprioLeonardo DiCaprio : Leonardo DiCaprio has settled a $10 million lawsuit accusing him of conspiring to thwart the release of a low-budget film Don's Plum he made beforeTitanic. DiCaprio has said through a publicist that he made the film as a favor for a friend with the understanding it would never be shown as a feature-length picture. The movie is about a group of friends who gather at a diner one Saturday night for coffee and wide-ranging conversation about everything from drugs to masturbation.

Enemy at the Gates : Variety reports that director Jean-Jacques Annaud (Seven Years in Tibet) is getting ready to shoot another fact-based wartime film. Annaud will direct and produce Enemy at the Gates, which is slated to shoot in Germany in December or early January. The film tells the true story a World War II duel between a young Russian sniper (Jude Law) and a German officer (Ed Harris). Joseph Fiennes will play the Russian's best friend, and Rachel Weisz is in talks to play the woman they both love.

The Green Mile : Official site has released a new poster and a trailer for the upcoming Tom Hanks movie The Green Mile. The film is directed by Frank Darabont and also stars David Morse, James Cromwell and Gary Sinise.

Any Given Sunday : The trailer for the new Oliver Stone movie Any Given Sunday is available in official site. The film stars Al Pacino, Dennis Quaid, Jamie Foxx, Jim Caviezel, Cameron Diaz, Matthew Modine and James Woods.

Double JeopardyWeekend Box Office : Double Jeopardy which stars Ashley Judd and Tommy Lee Jones was the top grossiing movie of the weekend. The film stars Ashley Judd as a woman wrongly accused of murder who seeks revenge on the husband who framed her, and Tommy Lee Jones as the parole officer bent on stopping her before she goes too far. Martin Lawrence's Blue Streak came second, while The Sixth Sense came third and totaled its gross to $225 million.

Cameron DiazCharlie's Angels: The Strait Times reports that Salma Hayek will be the third angel in Charlie's Angels. The magazine also reports that she took $6 million for the role. The other two angels were Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz.

Stephen King : Stephen King has obtained a souvenier from the accident that left him seriously injured: He bought the minivan that struck him. "Yes, we've got the van, and I'm going to take a sledgehammer and beat ... it!" King said in editions of the The Bridgton News.
