Charlie's Angels : According to some insiders Bill Murray will not star in the role of Bosley in the Charlie's Angels movie. Now, insiders say, he has walked after asking for $1 million more than the producers could afford. Also the third angel is yet to be cast. The other two were Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz. Barrymore will also produce the movie.
The Body : Shooting has begun in Israel on the new thriller The Body. Antonio Banderas stars in the tale about a priest who uncovers the remains of Jesus Christ, proving he wasn't resurrected and thus destroying the credibility of the Church. Jonas McCord is directing the movie. The film is scheduled to open in Late 2000.

Sixth Day : Robert
Duvall
(The Godfather) will star in The Sixth Day with
Arnold Schwarzenegger. The movie which also stars Michael Rapaport,
Sarah Wynter and Michael Rooker will be directed by Roger Spottiswoode.
The $80 million-budgeted action filmis expected to start shooting in December
in Vancouver. The pic is about a man (Schwarzenegger) who returns home one day
to discover that he has been replaced by a clone. Duvall will play a cloning
scientist who is in business with the ather unknown lead villain.
Taking Lives : Tony Scott (The Fan) is in negotiations to direct Taking Lives. The pic is the story of a serial killer who assumes the identities of the people he has murdered. The film is headed for a spring start date.
Simon West : Simon West (Con Air, The General’s Daughter) will direct the 1960s cult TV series The Prisoner into a film and also Shelley’s Garden. Shelley’s Garden is based on the life of his grandmother. Prisoner the series was about a spy (Patrick McGoohan in the original series) kept captive in a village while the government tries to deprogram him.

There's Something About Miranda : Robert De Niro will produce, and possibly direct and costar in There's Something About Miranda. The movie is based on a Vanity Fair article.which tells the intimate but nonsexual affairs a woman had with a parade of famous men. Sources say De Niro has shown interest in appearing in the picture as himself.
Terminator 3 : While in a news conference about End Of Days, Arnold Schwarzenegger confirmed that he will not star in the third and fourth Terminator movies unless James Cameron is involved in the project. "I have no intention of doing it except when Jim Cameron does the directing, or the producing, or writing...Jim Cameron has to be involved in one way or another".
Moulin
Rouge : Filming of director Baz Luhrmann's (Romeo +
Juliet) latest movie, Moulin Rouge which stars Nicole
Kidman and Ewan McGregor has been halted for two weeks to allow Kidman
to rest after she fractured a rib during rehearsals. Kidman fractured a rib
four weeks ago rehearsing a dance routine for the film. Kidman plays a turn-of-the-century
French nightclub star and courtesan who has a passionate affair with a young
poet (McGregor).
Time Code 2000 : Holly Hunter has joined the cast of Time Code 2000 for Mike Figgis. The other cast includes Salma Hayek, Stellan Skarsgard, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Kyle MacLachlan. Pic centers on a woman who had created a new life for herself in Manhattan after murdering her abusive boyfriend seven years earlier. When corrupt cops find out the truth and blackmail her, she reveals her past to her psychologist husband, and the two attempt to combat the blackmailers.

who is in talks to star in Martin Scorsese's Irish gang period piece
Gangs of New York, has left the project because
he does not want the pic's shooting out of United States. The pic which stars
Leonardo DiCaprio, was scheduled for an April start in Rome.
Chasing Sleep : Jeff Daniels will star in Chasing Sleep as a college writing professor. Michael Walker will make his idrectional debut in this psychological horror story. The pic is about a professor who wakes up one night to find that his wife hasn't returned home. Over the course of several sleepless nights, he confronts detectives, psychiatrists and a smitten student as he struggles to understand her disappearance. The movie began shooting Tuesday in Chelsea, Mich.

Fishing
for Moonlight :
Keanu Reeves is in negotiations to star in Fishing for Moonlight.
The pic is about the true story of a stockbroker whose life is destroyed
when he frees a prostitute from the Russian mafia. Fishing for Moonlight
is based on an article Daniel Jeffreys wrote for London's Times
newspaper about a stockbroker who visits a brothel boasting Russian beauties,
and finds himself in a room with a young immigrant who is clearly terrified.
The stockbroker decides to save the girl. Reeves will join the shooting after
Australia the shoot of back-to-back sequels to The Matrix. Reeves
signed a deal that will pay him a $30 million advance against 15% of the gross
for the two Matrix sequels.
Dexterity : Ashley Judd is attached to star star in Dexterity. The romantic drama centers on a couple working in a decaying industrial town in upstate New York. Their life is altered when the factory that employs them goes belly up. Matthew McConaughey, who previosly worked with Judd in A Time To Kill, may also star in the pic.
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days : Gwyneth Paltrow wants to star in romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. The pic tells the story of a womanizer who bets his friends, he can stay in a relationship for more than 10 days. He winds up getting more than he bargained for when the woman he chooses tries to get rid of him. No director is attach to star.
Prime Gig : Julia Ormond (Legends of the Fall,Sabrina) will star with Vince Vaughn and Ed Harris in Prime Gig . Director Gregory Mosher will make his feature debut on the film. The shooting next week in L.A. Pic is about a soon-to-be laid-off telemarketer who undertakes a quixotic search for the perfect phone job.
