Jodie FosterLeni Riefenstahl Project : Variety reports that Jodie Foster will play Hitler's favorite filmmaker in a movie about the controversial life of Leni Riefenstahl. Foster is also co-producing the movie through her own production company, Egg Pictures. Riefenstahl, now 97, was an acclaimed photographer, actress and filmmaker in 1930s Germany whose movies and documentaries were used by Hitler as propaganda to further his vision of the Third Reich.

After the Second World War she was imprisoned for nearly four years, first by U.S. officials and then by the French, for her contributions to Nazi propaganda. Foster said "She was perhaps one of the greatest filmmakers of all time and yet her name will be forever linked to the horror of Nazi Germany."

A Clockwork Orange : Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange will return to British screens 27 years after the director himself withdrew it. Kubrick withdrew the film in 1973 after it had been on release for a year, because he and his family had received death threats. A Studio executive said "The family believe it would be a fitting memorial to Stanley".

Black Knight : Chris Tucker will get $13 to $15 million to star in Black Knight. The film tells the story of a restaurant employee who is transported back to medieval times. Tucker had took $3 millon for Rush Hour and the movie eventually grossed $141 million in America. The film is expected to cost between $50 and $60 million and is being prepared for an April start date.

Quentin TarantinoTarantino's Next Project : Quentin Tarantino's next project will be epic World War II film. There is no plot revealed yet and Tarantrino is reported to be halfway through the script.

Bedazzled : Brendan Fraser will star in the remake of the 1967 Dudley Moore comedy Bedazzled. The shooting will begin Filming will begin in January, with Harold Ramis (Analyze This) directing.The film is about a short-order cook, (Frazer) who the devil saves from suicide and then tempts with an offer of seven wishes in exchange for his soul.

Spider ManSpider Man : There are very strong rumors that Sony has offered Spider Man to David Fincher. No deal is yet announced and Fincher says it's not on his schedule right now. A while ago Barry Sonnenfeld's name was mentioned as the director and Chris O'Donnell to play but no confirmation is made.

Collateral Damage : Arnold Schwarzenegger, has committed to star in the thriller Collateral Damage for director Andrew Davis. The shooting is expected to begin June 1. The film is based on Ron Roose's spec script and tells the story of a man who goes after the terrorist who murdered his wife and child in a bombing.

Joel Schumacher : Joel Schumacher (8mm) has signed a deal to direct a music video for the group Bush. Schumacher has also directed a series of six HIV and AIDS public-service announcements, which debuted last week on World AIDS Day.

Johnny Depp : Johhny Depp will play guitar on girlfriend Vanessa Paradis' new album. The actor is even said to have written some songs.

Keanu ReevesSweet November : Keanu Reeves is in final negotiations to star in a remake of the 1968 film Sweet November. The original film starred Anthony Newley as a Gotham-based tycoon who falls for a girl played by Sandy Dennis who insists on taking a new lover each month because she is dying. Robert Ellis-Miller directed the original. The Remake will be directed by Pat O'Connor (Circle of Friends) with a start date Feb. 28.

Pay It Forward : 11-year-old Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense) has signed on to join Kevin Spacey in Pay It Forward. The project is about a young student who takes up a challenge from his cynical and scarred teacher: make the world a better place. The' system in which a person does a good turn for a stranger. That person doesn't pay him back, but rather pays forward by doing a good deed for another stranger, who continues the cycle. The boy takes in a homeless person to the consternation of his harried mother. She takes up the issue with the teacher, and they start a relationship. Mimi Leder (Deep Impact) may helm the film which is set to shoot for a February 2000. Helen Hunt is in negotiations to join as a lead actress.

Pitch Black : The film is directed David Twohy which directed 1996's great sci-fiction film The Arrival. Official Site has released trailers for the pic which stars Vin Diesel, Cole Hauser, Radha Mitchell and about the survivors of a ship which crashes on an unexplored planet. Later the survivors discover that this planet is going to soon be in a state of eclipse that will bring out deadly nocturnal creatures. A prison convict (Diesel) will lead the survivors off the planet...

Toy Story 2 Weekend Box Office : Through weekend Toy Story 2 became the number 1 movie in the box office. The World Is Not Enough came second and Arnold Schwarzenegger starrer End of Days got the third spot. Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow was fouth with 18.8. million dollars.

Gary SiniseMission to Mars : The official site has released the teaser trailer for the movie. The film will open March 10th 2000 in United States. The film is an adventure about the first and second missions to Mars. When the first team disappears shortly after sending an alert back to Earth, a second team is dispatched to rescue survivors. The film is directed by Brian DePalma and stars Gary Sinise, Tim Robbins, Don Cheadle and Jerry O'Connell.

Hurricane : The new trailer for the Denzel Washington starrer is released. Washington plays the real life of boxer Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, the black 1960s middleweight who was twice wrongly convicted for the murder of three white men in a New Jersey bar. The other cast includes Greg Kinnear, Liev Schrieber, John Hannah and directed by Norman Jewison.
