Four Feathers : The Oscar nominated actor Jude Law for his role in The Talented Mr. Ripley will star in Four Feathers. The film will be a remake of Zoltan Korda tale that tells the story of a British officer who resigns his post just before battle and is given four white feathers by his friends and fiancee as symbols of what they believe to be his cowardice. Shekhar Kapur (Elizabeth) will direct the picture which begins shooting in July. Law is also considering to play the lead in The Good Shepherd which will be directed by Robert De Niro.
Sidewalks Of New York : Ed Burns and girlfriend Heather Graham will star in a romantic comedy named Sidewalks of New York. The script which is written by Burns, is a contemporary romantic comedy that interweaves love stories. Burns will also direct and produce. The other cast includes Brittany Murphy (Girl, Interrupted) and Rosario Dawson.

Chicken Run : The voice cast to this animated Dreamworks picture include Mel Gibson, Julia Sawahla, Miranda Richardson and Phil Daniels. When a dashing American rooster (Gibson) falls in love with one of the hens (Sawahla) on a British farm, the two engage on an exciting attempt at escape from the clutches of the cruel chicken farmer who owns them (Richardson).

and The Insider with seven apiece,The Sixth Sense,
with six. Meryl Streep entered record books with her 12th nomination.
She tied with Katharine Hepburn for the most acting noms ever. 79-year-old
Richard Farnsworth (The Straight Story) became the oldest
leading actor nominee ever, while 11-year-old Haley Joel Osment (Sixth
Sense) is the third youngest supporting actor nominee. John Williams
has his 38th nomination, for scoring Angelas Ashes. Click

Prozac Nation : Christina Ricci will star in and co-produce Prozac Nation, an adaptation of Elizabeth Wurtzel's detailing her battles with depression. The book tells the story of Wurtzel's struggles with depression from childhood which became so bad that she once tried to commit suicide before finding hope in the title drug.Norwegian director Erik Skjoldbjaerg will helm the picture which will begin shooting May 15.
Kings of Comedy : Spike Lee has agreed to direct the docudrama Kings of Comedy, based on a popular African-American comedy tour of the same name. The film will star Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley and Bernie Mac and also it will feature outtakes from the actual show mixed with a smattering of backstage activities and music.
Along Came A Spider : Michael Wincott (Alien Resurrection) is set to star with Morgan Freeman in the prequel to Kiss the Girls. The film also stars Monica Potter (Patch Adams). This time forensic psychologist Alex Cross (Freeman) investigates the kidnapping of two girls from a high profile private school, a case which may relate to a series of murders taking place around town.

Dolittle 2: Michael Fleming reportes that Eddie Murphy is
nearing a deal that will pay him $20 million against 20% of the gross to star
in a sequel to Dr. Dolittle. Production expected to begin by the
fall. The original movie grossed $240 million worldwide. The studio has a script
by Larry Levin, who wrote the original. Hes now working on a second draft.
Murphy is next committed to star for director Ron Underwood in Pluto Nash
and is likely to begin Dolittle II right after.
Trailers : The Ninth Gate is directed by Roman Polanski and stars Johnny Depp, Lena Olin, James Russo. In the movie Depp plays a rare arts dealer that discovers a strange demonic conspiracy while trying to find the last two copies of an ancient tome said to hold the secrets of summoning Satan. Ready to Rumble stars David Arquette, Oliver Platt and Jack Palance about two fans trying their favorite wrestler get his confidence back.

Scream
3 managed to remain at the top of the box office beating out the much-anticipated
Leonardo Dicaprio starrer Beach. The film features DiCaprio
as a young American traveler in Thailand who finds a remote island that turns
out to be far from the paradise he thought it would be. Chevy Chase starrer
family film Snow Day was surprisingly a strong opening and Disney's
latest cartoon The Tigger Movie also took a fine amount. The
Green Mile, The Hurricane and Stuart Little
also managed to stay in the top ten.

Thin Air : Sylvester Stallone has just announced that work
has begun on his long-awaited car racing movie which he has been developing
for years. According to The Stallone Zone, he said
at an official press conference yesterday that he has just completed work on
a screenplay entitled "Champs" set around the world of Championship Auto Racing
Teams.The budget will be around $65 million, the plot follows a young hotshot
driver who comes apart at the seams midway into the season rhen Stallone comes
in to help him recover.
Beyond Borders : According to Hollywood Reporter, Kevin Costner has dropped out of Beyond Borders, one month after Catherine Zeta-Jones exited the project. Now Oliver Stone and Dan Halsted have postponed the project indefinitely. Costner now turned his attention to talking about a role in Disney's Pearl Harbor for producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Michael Bay. Costner would join Cuba Gooding Jr., who was first on board. Up next for Costner is 3,000 Miles to Graceland opposite Kurt Russell, which is set to go before cameras next month.
