COLD, DARKNESS, SILENCE, BUT then in 1989 a ray of light was created in a small corner in the disney studio's.The people there had a idea,a vision about an animated feature with lions and other african animals.The idea was bold,daring,maybe crazy but disn y new they had something special. Things were set. Disney artists made many trips to east africa to get a good view of african life. After 1992,the movie was taking shape,the name 'king of the jungle' was replaced by 'the lion king' Characters like mee-to and the bat'eared fox came and went. People like: chris sanders, andy gaskill, brenda chapman and many others worked hard to make this movie. And their efforts were not in vain! 1994 tlk was released, and millions around the world enjoyed the fun, the te rs, and the beauty of tlk. Even long after fans kept the magic alive. And now after 4 years the same tension is in the air. Soon the land will shake under a million soft footfalls of fans waiting for sp. For now sleep well, but remember: together they wil rise to bring the dawn of a new era in wich tlk and sp come together in a great an glorious future!!!
