My boy band obsession started in 6th grade when my mom told me to listen to a song. It's title: "Please Don't Go Girl". Instant fanatic. NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK was my new obsession. Over the course of the next three years my life was devoted to the guys (Jordan especially!). I had everything....all of their tapes, about a dozen T-shirts, NKOTB earrings, watch, pillowcase, sleeping bag, water bottle, stickers, dolls, everything, you name it! These guys were it for me. I still enjoyed them after they broke up. Just popping in their tape and listening to Jordan's falsetto voice sing "I'll Be Loving You Forever" was so soothing. It always guaranteed a smile on my face! I was never ashamed to admit that I did and still LOVE New Kids on the Block!

Imagine my surprise to hear that Jordan and Joey were recording solo albums! I love Jordan's album alot! Especially "I Can Never Take the Place of Your Man" and "When You're Lonely". I just bought Joey's new CD and went to his concert. Front row (actually second)!!



The reemergance of former NKOTB members has also reemerged my teenage years. My friends and I took a 3 hour trip to see 98 Degrees in concert. Wow are they HOT. My favorite is NICK. Too bad N Sync was sold out before I became a fan! Oh well, there's always the next boy band to show up. Until then KEEP ON KEEPING ON!
