CHRIS WESTFALL & KEVIN YEARGIN

Christopher Westfall is a 28-year-old practicing dentist from Medford, New Jersey who is also a singer / songwriter who plays both the guitar and piano. Chris attended his first John Denver concert when he was just five years old! Kevin Yeargin, 36, owns a Mustang restoration business in North Carolina. Kevin's a marvelous, gentle singer who has played guitar since he was a teenager.

These gentlemen met in November, 1997 at a John Denver tribute in Doylestown Pennsylvania. Something "clicked" and they have since become musical "Kindred Spirits." Bound by their love for acoustic music, these men vow to continue to play the music of John Denver whenever and wherever they can! After all, JD is the primary reason both of these fellows picked up a guitar in the first place!

They've learned a lot from each other... Kevin's outstanding guitar work has made Chris a better musician and Kevin's confidence has improved greatly! With Kevin's help, Chris recorded a tribute CD to John Denver called "Kindred Spirit" that includes an original song, "No Difference." This song serves as both a celebration and a "call to arms" for fans and friends to continue the legacy of the vision and music of John Denver.

The traveling troubadours' resume includes (either together or separately) John Denver tributes at the Sheraton Inn in Tyson's Corner, Virginia (1991), the New York Windstar Connection event held at Pier 63 along the Hudson River in New York City (June, 1998); New Jersey's Vision Walk (August, 1998), the Inn At Aspen, Colorado (October, 1998), an "It's About Time" event in Massachusetts (December, 1998), the July, 1999 Ohio Summer Celebration and five appearances at "Hearts in Harmony" celebrations. Join them at the Hotel Jerome and the Inn At Aspen in October, 1999!

As usual with Denver people, Chris & Kevin are simply two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet! Besides the music of John Denver, the guys love and play material from the catalogs of Kate Wolf, Billy Joel, Dan Fogelberg, Gordon Lightfoot, Paul McCartney, Cheryl Wheeler, and lots of other "folkies."
