Actually, Scully is irresistible, to a mortician who starts, uh, dating some of his female customers, then decides to go for something a little... fresher, our favorite FBI Agent.  (Robey had a similar problem once on Friday the 13th: The Series. J)

The episode that almost answers the burning question: Does Dana Scully really taste like chicken?  (More specifically, does Scully taste like USDA Poultry Inspector, unlucky tourist, & chicken.)
Scully's horrified 'cause she realizes that no only is she gonna be decapitated, cooked, & eaten, but they're gonna consume her using plastic forks & paper plates!!!  She doesn't even rate the everyday china?  Philistines!  (... & when are people in small Southern towns finally going to realize they can't solve their problems with the Federal Government by eating Government employees (...or by electing Republicans. J))

This episode combines spirit photography & a serial kidnapper performing transorbital lobotomies on his victims with an icepick (& without a license.)  It's all just another day-at-the-office for Scully. J

Excepting a few hand gags & such (for example Æ)... so far, that was it for Damsel Scully for a looooong time.  The "X-Philes" started raising such a gawd-awful stink whenever a Scully-in-peril-&-Mulder-to-the-rescue episode appeared (with derisive, politically correct, snotty comments), that Dana-in-Distress scenes more or less... stopped.  Thanks a bunch, dweebs!

I kept hoping something would happen... like Scully being captured by The Evil Bitch Temptress, Special Agent Diana Fowley (Mimi "Knockers" Rogers), who would tie her down, gag her, slowly strip off her own FBI approved business suit, then Dana's... slather the struggling, mewing redhead with exotic, perfumed, massage oils... &... (This is the point where I always wake up, dammit!) J
Anyhoo, then an episode named Orison came along...  J!!!
