How high is Sandrine Exactly?
Author: Devon Norris
I am wondering Sandrine Holt's hieght, in this website she is "about 6 feet", but how high is she exactly?Reply to: How high is Sandrine Exactly?
Author: Tom
I don't have any information for her height, but she is almost as tall as Nicholas Lea (about 180 cm) when she stands with him in Once a Thief, (at least last time I looked at her she was that high!!)Reply to: How high is Sandrine Exactly?
Author: John Maxwell
In reply to your question,
I know that Fred Savage (according to a fan-site) is 5'9." This would make
Sandrine somewhere around 6'0"-6'1." Even with the absence of heels, she was
still between 3-4 inches taller than Fred.
To be more precise, the creator of this site might want to contact her agent
regarding her general data.

Sandrine & Once A Thief
Author: Thiyah(pronounced Tia) Lam
I would like to say, I love watching Once a Theif. I think
Lee-Ann(Sandrine) should be paired up with Mac. They make a cute couple. I
think she is really beautiful and she could be a model. I mean she's got the
body and everything. I'm not obsessed with her or anything, but I find her very
talented. So my question really is has Sandrine ever been into the modelling
business? And will there be new episodes of Once a Theif?
Reply to: Sandrine & Once A Thief
Author: T-gal
I just wanted to let you (Thiyah) know that yes Sandrine was once a
model. I read it in a magazine in the fall sometime.Reply to: Sandrine & Once A Thief
Author: Cadu
I think the same about her. She's very good actress and very, very, very,
beautiful.
I have just seen the last episode (30 minutes ago - HBO Brasil), and I can't
believe it's over!!! I used to watch it all Sundays, and now what will I do?
Sleep? Be crying? I don't know... my life has no meaning... Maybe I should kill
myself :)
Just to confirm: is thar the last episode? Do the 3 die on a bomb explosion made
by a muderer on episode #22? Didn't them made a new one?

I am quite happy to find a site dedicated to Sandrine Holt. I've
been looking for information about her since seeing her in "The Outer Limits."
In case anybody is interested episodes of "Once a Thief" are showing on The
Movie Channel. I live in California and it is on Sundays at 11pm.
Unfortunately I don't have The Movie Channel and had to resort to watching it
scrambled up. Does anyone know if it is available on video? Thanks.
Is OAT really over?
Author: Brian
I just started watching "Once a Thief" about 2 months ago. I really like the
show, they have some cool stuff on it. Of course, Sandrine carries it :). But
when I saw this board, I see people talking about it being over already, is this
true? I hope not. I hope someone here could EMail me telling me what's up with
it. Thanks. Brian
OAT on Showtimes
Author: Jon
Once a thief used to be a TV show? The ones I saw were movies in TMC.
The titles for the ones I saw were:"John Woo's Once A Thief"
"John Woo's Once A Thief: Family Business"
"John Woo's Once A Thief: Brother Against Brother"
I only watched them because of John Woo...
I guess those movies I saw on TMC were the TV shows without
the commercials. No wonder why they sometimes look like
they have some kind of gap where they'd usually show commercials
or something. Ok Thanks. Bye.
OAT's sad ending
Author: the creator
For all those people watch Once A Thief: Once A Thief production is official cancled. the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) made that terrible desicion. Its first season was its last one, in the season (and series) finale, every single main characters excpet the director died in an explosion. Well, need me naming them? I believe you know who they're. They are Li Ann, Mac, Victor, and Michael, alack!! You know, sometimes you just wish this kinda good show never ends. I was total shock when I saw the series finale.
p.s. OAT was nominated for 4 Gemini Awards (Canadian Oscar.)
Why was OAT cancelled?
Author: John Wright
In his message "Sad ending...",the Creator infers the
Canadian Radio and Television Commission (CRTC) is
responsible for the cancellation of Once a Thief. How
did this happen? The CRTC would not normally have any-
thing to do with the production of an individual show.
Was there some particular decision or action by the
CRTC that is blamed for the demise of the show?
The reasons for OAT's cancellation
Author: the creator
CRTC cancled OAT for some reasons: the most important reason is that OAT does not have enough viewers (its rate is the 20th one in CTV). Another problem with it was that Alliance (the producing company of OAT) lacks of money.
Other minor reasons included that Nicholas Lea (starred as Vic Mansfield) did not enjoy to act in Toronto since the beginning of the production; he thinks it's too far away from his home (which is in Vancouver, BC... for those don't know...well, BC is in the north of Seattle and Toronto is in the north of New York State.)
"John Woo's Once A Thief" - Telefilm Canada also to blame for series
cancellation; Showcase TV picks up OAT reruns; pilot movie on home video.
Author: Alan
Here's yet another reason for the untimely cancellation of OAT: earlier this
year, as you may recall, Telefilm Canada ran into trouble when they ran out of
money to fund Canadian TV and film productions. The reason for this appears to
be that Telefilm Canada, for some reason, also devotes a surprisingly
substantial portion of its annual budget to US productions which are co-produced
and/or filmed in Canada (Outer Limits, Poltergeist, X-Files prior to its move to
L.A., etc.). They dished out most of their budget to those productions, then
when the time came for homegrown Canadian productions like OAT to apply for
funding from Telefilm Canada, TFC didn't have nearly enough money to go around.
The money that was available was apparently already earmarked for several
Canadian dramas, most of them on CBC (goodness knows they could use some funding
right now). So a lot of Canadian shows, including, it seems, OAT, got the short
end of the straw. The result? The CRTC, already a !
Canadian controversy for their treatment of Canadian rock star Bryan Adams,
pulls the plug on OAT, officially citing the ratings (the last I heard, they
were actually picking up), but also citing lack of money available to produce a
second series. Now you know the real reason behind the show's cancellation, and
who was responsible: the CRTC, and Telefilm Canada. (Canadian TV never had it
better, eh?)
On a brighter note, the Canadian specialty cable channel Showcase just picked up
the rights to replay OAT (Saturday evenings). Alliance, one of the companies
producing OAT, owns Showcase, so expect a good long run of OAT reruns on that
channel, because a lot of John Woo's theatrical features get featured as well.
And the pilot movie for the series is now available to rent on home video
(Rogers Video is one chain that carries the title). I'm not sure if it's
available for sell-through yet, so keep checking.
I enjoyed the show very much. Wish it could have had a happier ending, though.
Thanks.

Author: I'm Yaco
Hello everybody,I'm Yaco, I'm French, I just discovered this website, and I
think that I know how to pronounce "Cendrine".I didn't know that she was partly
French. Yet, I'm not amazing :
"Cendrine" is a French first name and it's very widespread in France. So, I think
you can pronounce with the French accent, and not with
a English accent. In France, we pronounce :
- [en] like ???? I don't know any English word which has the same
pronunciation than a French word like... "mANger". I think it's a unknown
sonorousness in English...
- [dr] : In English, you always pronounce [dw] : "dreamt" ([dwemt]) is like
"dwell". In France, we pronounce a "r" and not a "w" like the French word
"entenDRE". We roll the r's !!!!! - [ine] like "bin"
What a hard task to explain to English or American men a French word whose every
sonorousness is different from the traditional English pronunciation !!!
PS : Does it exist an official website about Cendrine Holt ?
Additional Note
Author: Creator
No, there's no official website for Sandrine Holt.
I didn't realize it's a french name! As you may know, "n" in French is the nasal sound, and "r" is like a sound at back of throat, it's somewhat like "hRRRRR" (it's like German h too.)
