Based on a real incident, At Close Range is the harrowing account of Brad Whitehead Jr a high school dropout who longs for an exciting way out of his dead-end small-town existence. Escape looks likely when he is reunited with his long-lost father Brad Sr, the swaggering, arrogant leader of a gang of successful thieves. He offers his son a home, a future, friendship - and a chance to learn 'the business'. But the forces which draw deserting father and wayward son together also set them on a path which leads inexorably to tragedy and cold-blooded murder. |
