What would you like most people to know about you?
That I'm very trustworthy and loyal and that I'm not miserable. I just
don't show how I'm feeling.
What are you biggest fears in the world?
Being totally poor and having no way out of it. If I earn lots of
money doing this I'll be really sensible with it and not splash it
all in one go.
Have you ever done anything you've been really ashamed of?
When I'm tired I don't like myself. I don't like the way I treat
people. I get selfish and I want everything to go my way. It's
something I can't control.
How attractive do you think you are?
It depends what a girl's looking for. If she wants someone to talk
to about her problems then on first impression she'd probably
think I look really sensible. But she'd also probably think I'm a
little bit boring looking.
Do you get annoyed that good looks play such a big part in pop?
No 'cause that's what pop music's about. It's just a laugh innit. If
someone says, 'You're a heartthrob!' It doesn't mean you really are
it just means you're a popstar.
Would you like to be a dad?
What would I have a boy or a girl? (Er!) Well, if I ha a boy I'd
teach him how to be a man and respect ladies. If I had a girl she'd
probably speak to her mother more. I wouldn't feel so comfortable
talking about girl's things.
What do you think about in the bath?
(Sniggers) Er, if I've had a stressful day I try and relax and sort
my head out. If I'm in a really good mood, I just have a bath,
don't
I? Get meself clean.
If someone wanted to do a nude sculpture of you, would you be up for
it?
I don't mind the idea of seeing the final sculpture but sitting
there while someone takes hours modelling me out of clay. No thank
you!
Who are you closest to in Five?
J - we're both Northerners. We do like Southerners, it's just you tend
to get on with people from round your way. We both think alike too.
Do you guys argue much?
Very rarely and they're not even proper arguments. We shout at each
other to get our anger out. If I think something's wrong I'll say it
no matter what.
What were you like at primary school?
Whenever I was in class I was always looking forward to playing
footie at playtime. I wasn't very confident at school so I didn't
really do as well as I should have.
What are the main differences between boys and girls?
Men are from Mars and women are from Venus. (Smiling smugly).
When a man has a problem he likes to sort it out on his won. A
woman would rather chat to her mates about it. Women are much
softer too.
Do you sometimes wish you weren't famous?
Only when I'm really, really, really tired and I'm being asked to put
on a happy face. That can get me down.
Ever tried on womens' clothes?
I might have put high heeled shoes on when I was little and run
around the room. And I might have put a pair of girls knickers on me
head, but I couldn't be sure.
Ever used your fame to get a snog?
No, but once I pretended I was someone other than Sean from Five. I
said I was older too but it turned out she knew who I was all
along.
Is being the youngest in the band a good or bad thing?
It's no disadvantage when it comes to girls 'cause they usually
think I'm older than I really am. I don't get bullied buy the
others either. I'm not the victim type. Anyway I'd say Scott's
definitely the youngest personality wise.
How much money would it take for you to walk around own in just a pair
of pants?
None whatsoever. 2000? (Pauses to ponder this) Only if you let me
hang a big sign round my neck saying, 'I'm doing this for two grand'.
