Someone once asked me what my favourite U2 song was. I honestly had to say, whatever happens to be playing by U2 at the moment is my favourite. They are all excellent. Their combined talents make U2 one of the most unique and greatest bands of all time. After almost 20 years, they are still going strong.
U2 has reinvented themselves as a band several times, which inevitably leaves some fans behind as they gain new ones. They deserve true respect for continuing to put out consistently creative and passionate music while always changing it's style. Ok, since Joshua Tree, listening to one of their new CDs for the first time is a bit disorienting, but each new release grabs you if you give it the chance.
