Dawn of the Dead

When theres no more room in hell the dead will walk the earth. Damn strait.

This movie kicks so much ass. This is my very favorite out of the whole trilogy. It takes place in a frickin mall! What's so speical about a mall? Well, I don't really know. In real life I try to avoid them at all costs. They wreak of pretzels, people, and everyday EVIL. Perhaps it's the fun of watching the result of the free-for-all mentality that a zombie plagued world would create? I mean, yeah you'd have everything you ever wanted but how long could you really hold up? The world's being overrun by the undead and you're prancing around in fur coats, stocking up on cash you can't even use anymore! Or, maybe it's just getting to see the inside of a mall from 20 years ago?

Anyway, zombie movies are the greatest especially when they're done by Romero. It has it's cheesy moments but it's just too cool. Tom Savini really makes the best zombies, at least in my humble opinion. Man, what I would have given to be just some random zombie extra, hobbling past JC Pennys guided only by instinct, a blood lust for human flesh, and a faint memory of a place that was once important to me...

Either way you look at it, whether it's an anti-materialist social commentary about upper/lower class struggle or just a kick ass zombie flick, this film rules.
