Taadaa! Here's the first Aa! Megami-sama
CG I've ever done. I'm trying out a "new" style of shading in this CG.
I think other people already know what this is. Anyway, in case you're
wondering why the lines look so crappy, look on down the page. ^_^

know how I achieved some of the effects (Silver line and those glowing
orbs in Belldandy's hands. Yes, that Megami there is Belldandy,
in case my art is so bad. ^_-U)
Approximately 2 days' worth of 8
hour sessions to finish this CG, I think. I got the quote from a poster
I have in my room. I'm unlikely to repeat the quality of the shading in
this CG ever again though.... |

Here we have ourselves the *original*
picture. Yes, I scanned in the unshaded *pencil* outline of Belldandy-sama
and CGed the whole thing, which is why the lines in the picture above look
horrid. Ah well, I'll improve, I guess...
And yes, the ripples look crappy.
Anyway, I did this one's shading after I finished that CG above.
The words in the corner read :

Hm... once my AMG! page is up, I'm going to have to move some of these
over. Well, at the moment, I've decided to try drawing three of the AMG!
angels, World of Elegance, Holy Bell and Noble Scarlet. I dunno.... it's
my first time, but it came out somewhat better than expected. It still
looks weird here and there, but....
Anyway, I wonder if I should do Gorgeous Rose too?

What happens when you love an Anime/Manga
series enough to wanna live it out?
Well, you can either see a psychiatrist,
or you can make your own character! *laughs weirdly*
No, just kidding. But I do like
Aa! Megami-sama enough to try my hand at making a character based on the
series' artwork. I named her Uruz after the rune. (Yes, I realize she looks
a little like Peorth, so let's just say she's her younger sister, ok?)
Her angel's called Silver Sapphire.
Go figure. ^_^
I did this one before the ones mentioned
above, but who cares? I might put her as a "New" character in one of my
fan fictions if I ever get around to writing them.

Hey, so I like making my own characters
based on the manga of others! It's a start, at least.
^_^
As usual, a CG done with Photoshop
4.0, it took me 2 days to finish the foreground (Uruz, her angel and the
lilies), and several hours for the background (from scratch, on the PC
alone.).
*phew!*
I'm also trying out *another* style
of wings. I think this one looks better.
Well, I know some parts of the two
characters look weird, but I'm working on it! ^_^

Been a while since I started drawing again, so I thought I'd try starting
out with a Belldandy. The original idea was a lot different from the end
product, but I'm still proud of it! ^_^
I know I still need to work on some of the background and lens flare
effects, but this was a pretty successful picture, since I've never drawn
chibi before.
Ah well. |

I was inspired to do this one during a session with some of my friends
(and sempais), since I couldn't (and still can't) draw Skuld very well.
Anyway, I finally got around to doing a set of angel pics for real,
so here was the first one I came around to doing. I've always liked Noble
Scarlet, she's so cute!

Undoubtly one of the stranger Urds I've ever drawn, I couldn't get
the chin up effect right. Darn.
Well, anyway, I have to work on the perspectives (esp. Fingers), but
all in all, it still looks pretty good. And yes, Urd's angel has a white
eye but she's not blind.

After a month's recession in drawing activities from that last Urd
pic, I had to warm up a little before attempting this last pic. Well, looks
like my efforts paid off quite well.
But I think I... overdid... Belldandy a little. Oops. I should've added
more shadows to dispel that effect.
Anyway, I was working on this picture's predecessor (Same idea, posture,
etc.) but before I could finish it, my multi-purpose bag got stolen so
I had to completely start from scratch. (Which explains the month's absence.)
Anyway, this came out a lot better looking than the other. (Which is not
to say much.) |
