Okay, so you want to submit a story! Here's the boring mumbo-jumbo: I take no responsibility, legal, civil, or otherwise, for the fiction printed here. A valid email address must be given in order to submit a story. They must be original pieces of fiction and written BY YOU (not your mom, friend, or weird cousin Ned). No plagarism is acknowledged and will be deleted promptly when it is called to my attention. They must be G or PG rated. I reserve the right to edit your pieces of fiction as I see fit, including but not limited to: cleaning up language, shortening or lengthening the story, and changing names. Submitted sotries must not express any discrimination due to race, color, ethnic group, sex, etc, EXCEPT IN A HISTORICAL CONTEXT (such as Nazi discrimination against Jews). Thank you. By submitting a literary piece of work, you acknowledge these stipulations, accept them, and promise to abide by them.
Okay, now here's the rather simple process: 1.email your story to swing_heil@email.com. In the subject line, specify whether the story is about Swing Kids (whether based on the movie or a total piece of fiction) or Frank Whaley. Please include a short title, or one will be assigned to your story. Your name and email address will be placed with your story UNLESS YOU EXPRESSLY STATE THAT YOU DO NOT WISH IT TO BE IN THIS EMAIL!!! 2. I will edit your story if I see fit and post it on its own html page. I will choose the background, pictures, font, colors, and etc. There is no pre-set limit on the length of submited stories. 3. I will email you the address of your story once it is posted. It is YOUR responsibility to check it. If it meets your standards, do nothing. If you want corrections, email me. In the subject line, write your html code. For example, if your title is Call Me Joe, and your address is CallMeJoe.html, the subject line would read CallMeJoe.html--CORRECTIONS. This must be from the original email address that submitted the story (I WILL check!). 4.If, at any time, you want me to remove your story, email me. In the subject line, using the example above, write CallMeJoe.html--ERASE. This also must be from the original email address that submitted the story. Reasons for why you want this deleted would be helpful but not necessary. Erasure may take at least one month, so don't worry about it if I am very slow.
