Let's start at the beginning. Serena's first impression of Rini wasn't very good. Rini fell out of the sky, interupting a "moment" between Serena and Darien. Rini demanded for the Silver Crystal, and Serena questioned Rin's hair-style. Now, before you start calling Rini an aggressive brat, stop and think. She's not being a brat, she's being smart! She wants the crystal, the quicker the better. If she had received the crystal then, her mom in the future and other people would have been saved much earlier. Rini just wanted to get her job over quickly! So she did another smart thing, she got as close to Serena as possible.

Now, did Serena hate Rini? I think she sort of did at first, but after she started to learn about Rini and her purpose in the present, Serena's hate started to dissapear. Of course the two of them shared a few fight, but it was nothing serious.

In the original version of SailorMoon, Rini and Serena shared the same name, Usagi, except Rini was known as Chibi-Usa so people wouldn't be confused. DId the producer's at DiC think of that when they named Rini? I think they did, because the first ep Rini appeared in was called, "Serena Times Two". So, what else do Rini and Serena have in common other then their firs name? They both fear thunder storms, (so I heard,) they have similar hair styles, the both have a Silver Crystal, and they are both linked to rabbits. Serena's fave animal in a bunny, and much of her stuff is bunny related. As for Rini, the villains have nicknamed her "The Rabbit". Those are some of their simularities, there are many more but I'm sure you noticed them before.

Next question, does/did Rini hate Serena? I don't think so. I think Rini wasn't that nice to Serena at first because she didn't want to get close to anyone because she hoped to go home to the future soon. Rini doesn't intend to be super-mean, (usually,) to Serena. I think she is just teasing, (possible for attention,) but Serena blow it out of proportion.

In my opinion, Serena and Rini share a similar status on the web. When you hear different character's name's, usually one or two particular shrines will be mentioned. Example, SailorJupiter--Dark Echo Grounds of the Thunder Senshi. In a way, that page has the "Official SailorJupiterShrine" stamp. But Serena and Rini doesn't have pages like that. Well, Pink Sugar, (formally Rose's Chibi-Usa Shrine,) is on a lot of link lists, but it's down right now. ^_^ Reenie's World hasn't been updated in ages. Serena doesn't seem to have an official shrine, in fact, I've seen very few shrines dedicated to her. Perhaps it's because she is the main-character, so people get sick of her. Rini seems to have quite a few small pages that include a few images, some info and a few links. (Don't get me wrong, not all Rini pages are like that!)
