I asked Armand to tell me a little more about the films and stuff he'd been in, here's what he said:
October 20th 1999:
I am currently working on a new project called Sin Fronteras. It is a pilot for a Spanish television station. That is for Jose Cruz, and is independently produced. I am one of the 4 leads. I also worked on the television show Lords of the Mafia, directed by David Doyle for PBS.
March 18th 1998:
I filmed La Historia de Los Aztecas in Mexico City in 1991 for CBTIS (CBTIS is a University in Ecatepec de Morelos). I was the lead in this documentary depicting Aztec life.
I filmed "Two Coyotes", an Independent Feature Film, in L.A. in Nov./Dec. of 1997. We are in post production on this film right now. I expect it will be finished in the spring of this year. I play Chupacabras, a hitman for the Mexican Mafia. I filmed A Hollywood Rhapsody, an Independent Feature Film, in L.A. in August of 1997. This is also in post production. I play Jack, a motorcycle rock n roller guy, who's jealous of his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.
The other independent films I did were in the late spring of last year. They were smaller bit parts.
I worked on Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman last August as an extra. Fortunately for me, on the episode "Safe Passage", the director Steve Dubin, chose me to do a featured scene in which I played opposite Jane Seymour and Larry Sellers (Cloud Dancing), as a sick Cheyenne brave. That episode aired the middle of December of 1997. I should be doing more work for them if the show continues next season. (5-27-98 Looks like Dr. Quinn is cancelled, so there won't be more work for Armand here, unless he's done something since this piece got written. - Annie)
I also worked on a television show called "Placas" for Telemundo. (a Spanish television channel) Placas is a reenactment style program similar to "Cops". I played a victim who was murdered by his wife's boyfriend. That was scheduled to air on November 11 of 1997. However, they changed the date to March 31 of 1998. Let's hope it airs when they've promised. I hope you look for it. (11 p.m. , L.A. time, on Tuesday nights)
