THE FIRST SHOOTING OF TUPAC SHAKUR



At the Quad Studio, Times Square, New York on November 30 1994 Tupac was shot five times.

The mourning after the shooting Tupac was wheeled into a New York courtroom. Tupac was innocent of rape but was convicted of sexual assault.

Summary Of Shooting


Two men followed Tupac, manager Freddie Moore, brother-in-law Zand Turner, and friend Randy Watkins, into the building, where a third attacker was waiting.
Tupac refused the gunman's order to drop to the floor and went for his gun. Tupac was shot five times.
Moore, shot in the stomach, fell, then chased the three bandits onto the seventh Avenue before he collapsed.
Two bullets hit Tupac's head but did not pierce his skull. A third bullet hit his hand. A forth entered the back of his thigh and exited through the scrotum, causing massive bleeding.

Afterward

In later interviews, Tupac implied this incident was not a simple robbery but a set-up involving East Coast entrepreneurs Harrell, Combs, Watkins and others. They denied any involvement. Exactly one year to the day after Tupac's shooting, Walker was murdered in Queens New York. Tupac was shot and killed in Las Vegas on September 13 1996. To date nobody has been charged with his murder. Biggie Smalls was shot dead in LA on March 8, 1997.
