_____Avenger is captured by Crime Syndicate X and forced to join them or else risk the death of her family. When Cheetah, Brianna and Genn mount a rescue mission, she is forced to fight her friends. When Tirant is about to kill Cheetah, however, Avenger rebels and, after a terrific struggle, manages to defeat him, earning her freedom. Meanwhile, Gina and Penny split the reward from Atlantis and depart for home, each promising dire consequences for the other's future.
