Dixie

Dixie holds the Key to the City of San Francisco, presented to her after she won the admiration of the country for her part in promoting peace and ameliorating racial tensions in San Francisco. The mayor said that Dixie "simply had to be the most remarkable woman in San Francisco."*

Dix is a native of Washington State now living in sunny California; widowed for years, with three lovely adult daughters and two adorably cherubic grandchildren. Her hobbies include: Tim Curry, Rowan Atkinson, writing, drawing, painting, reading, knitting, crocheting, and photography. She has had twenty poems published, in "The Armchair Detective," "The Outlaw Gazette," and "Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine."**
