B orn in Ethiopia, Katigir was known as a formibidable fighter and brilliant tactician. His main focus other than "The Game" was to learn all the secrets that the world possessed. He eventually met up with the Immortal Connor MacLeod and became great friends with him. When the Revolutionary War broke out in North America, Kastigir helped fight with Connor in the war. While staying with Connor in the 1780's, he posed as an Eastern Prince. In 1879, Kastigir called upon his friend to help him fight in the Zulu Wars. Kastigir became a great swordsman among the Immortals, but even his great skill could not prevent the inevitable. In 1985, thinking that it was the time of the Gathering, Kastigir met up with the strongest of all Immortals and the most feared when he encountered Kurgan. The two fought in an alley way. The battle waged on for a while, drawing the attention of a crowd. But eventually worn down, Kastigir was overcome by the Kurgan and beheaded drawing the wrath of Connor who eventually avenged his friend's death.
