X avier St. Cloud was born in Morocco in the early 12th Century. During the Crusades in 1192 A.D. while fighting for the Saladins, he was killed an became Immortal. He was found by Henri St. Cloud, a French knight, and taught the ways of the Immortals. After his mentor was beheaded, he went about on his own. During the 1600's, he became an assassin. During the 20th century, he became a well known thief. His MO included using poisonous gases. He would set the gas off and kill all around him, including himself. Once they were all dead, he would arise and steal all the possessions. In 1917, he came upon Duncan MacLeod, when he set off a gas bomb among British soldiers who were tending to get paid. Before stealing the money off the truck, he sought out a dying MacLeod and was ready to behead him, when British officers with gas masks were heard. In 1978, he killed a West African drug lord in his mansion, and made off with a hefty amount of West African sculpture. In 1993, he was spotted knocking off a local jewelry store in Paris, France. Soon after, he went across the street to the monestary, led by the Immortal Darius. Knowing that his crimes could not be reported, he confessed his crimes to Darius, humiliating him the process. But his true target was MacLeod. With the West African he stole 15 years back, he tricks Tessa Noel into housing his sculpture in her show. Unwise to his identity and evil intentions, she agreed. But Xavier had slipped a bomb in one of them. When MacLeod wised up to Xavier's plans, he got to the bomb just in time and soon found Xavier at his barge. The two fought and St. Cloud tried to pull a bomb out. But before he could make use of it, MacLeod swiftly cut off his hand. Scared and hurt, Xavier jumped into the Seine River and not seen again until in 1994. It was then that he encountered James Horton, a previous member of our organization who was thought to be dead, who had gone renegade on us. Thinking all Immortals were evil, he attempted to kill Xavier. But Xavier alluded to the whereabouts of MacLeod and the two formed an Unholy Alliance. While the Renegade Watchers shot and disabled the Immortals, Xavier took their heads. They even managed to trick MacLeod into a trap. He was shot and near death and beheading by Xavier, but managed to escape. Xavier continued to help Horton, but his lust for killing Duncan got to him. At last, the two finally match up with one another and Xavier soon lost more than his hand.
