Mark's Bio

Mark was born the second of three children, in Ottawa Canada, to a diplomatic family whom he followed to Denmark, Trinidad, Paris, Washington DC and Mexico. After dropping out of university, he headed west to Calgary, intending to work in the lucrative oil patch as something or other, but instead stumbled upon the "Loose Moose Theater" and its legendary improvisation guru, Keith Johnstone. There he met Bruce McCulloch and others with whom he started a late night comedy revue called... er... "Late Night Comedy." Now rumor has it that around this time, he went blind from unrequited desire... TOTALLY FALSE PEOPLE!... The prosaic truth is that he moved back east to Toronto with a troupe known as The Audience, which morphed into the Kids in the Hall. The rest, as they say, is the rest.

Since Kids in the Hall, Mark did three seasons of Saturday Night Live, a bunch of movies (though his role in "Dog Park" by Bruce is his fave) and some theatre. He is currently on hiatus from the off-broadway hit "Fuddy Meers." Mark is married to the beautiful Marina and they live in New York with their young son Christopher. Thank you for your time and please...recycle.
