Since Nick was very young when he became a member of the BSB, he used to be very shy when it came to girls. None of the Boys had previously experienced the kind of attention they now get from thousands of female fans as BSBers, but Nick in particular hadn't had a lot of experience with girls before setting out on the road to stardom. In the beginning, he used to be much shyer around girls, exspecially around someone he liked. If he liked a special person, he would get a tingly feeling in his stomach and then not go near her. Hardly the best way to win someone's heart!
Nick hasn't yet been in love. As he gets a little older he has begun to feel more comfortable around girls, but he can still be shy when it comes to members of the opposite sex. He seems to spend more time on the basketball court or in front of his video games during his free time than he does taking girls out on the town, but that will porbably be changing quite soon.
When Nick first started dating, he used to perfer brunettes with long hair, but now that he has a little more experience and a few more years under his belt, he doesn't have a perference. For Nick, what is inside is what counts-beauty on the outside isn't as inportant as beauty on the inside. When he thinks about what he perfers in a pontential girlfriend, a good heart and a good personality top the list. Self-confidence is also appealing to him. He considers himself to be down-to-earth, so he would want to be with someone who would appreciate that about him. Since he believes he would be a loyal boyfriend, Nick wants to be with someone who is honest, too. If he ever finds that girl, she will be spoiled by an adoring Nick, who would be more than happy to treat his speical someone right.
TURN-ONS: Nick's dream girl shoundn't be shy. Instead she should be full of self-confidence and know exactly what she is looking for and what she wants out of life. Nick describes this attitude as "sassy"- he likes a girl with sass.
TURN-OFFS:For Nick, the big NO-NO is lying and/or cheating. If someone isn't going to be up front with Nick, she probably shouldn't bother. And sorry girls, smokers need not apply.
DREAM DATE:Because the Boys hectic schedule often puts the damper on having too many dates, Nick says that he tries to have fun and make the most of dates he does have.
Since Nick grew up not to far form the beach, that's where he sees himself taking a girl for a speical date: a moonlit walk down a beach with the calm water lopping softly at the shore. There would probably be more than one kind of star gazing on that date.
