A light film with a lot of both humor and intrigues, this film also include some good fighter scenes.
It is about a woman who is exceptionally powerfull in martial arts. She is not seen upon with respect from her father and
the people in the village, but when trouble occurs she is the one they turn to. A horde of bandits is giving the village much
trouble and Yeoh steps up to stop them. Then a long lost friend comes to the house where Yeoh lives with her sister and an other girl.
The friend is looking for Yeoh, so that he can propose to her, but he misunderstand and thinks the third girl is Yeoh.
He first understand the mix-up when Yeoh loses the big fight against the chif of the bandits. Now she must develop a new style to
defeat the bandit leader when they fight again or her friends will die. This film is supposed to have been made Back-to-back with
Tai-Chi Master. Well, I must say that Tai-Chi Master is the far superior of the two. But Wing Chung is a good movie, worth watching.
