I would definately choose Krycek over Mulder! Although I love Mulder, you have to admit that Krycek is much more exciting. He actually get things done. And you never know what side he's on, or what he's thinking. We know what Mulder wants, and although it's fun to see if he succeeds, we need Krycek helping and harming him to really make the plot suspenseful. Besides, it's fun to see if we can get any clues about Krycek's past. We don't even know his first name! It could be Alexander, Alexei, etc. ~TwilightMV

IMO, Krycek is a much more interesting, multi-dimentional, character. He is also much better looking than Mulder, has beautiful eyes and eyelashes to die for. ~Lynda

I agree with Leighcia, (who incedentally i think is from the NLML list.. hehe). Scully would go great with Krycek. And he looks oh so adorable in that black leather jacket of his. I mean, yes Mulder's worn one a couple of times, but Krycek is just da bomb when he wears it. Maybe it's just me, but I just love badboys..... especially ones with earrings... (i know Krycek doesn't have one, but Nick Lea does, and that's gotta count for something.)Besides, how many people out there would say Mulder's hotter? About a million. I think Krycek is better! Mulder may be good looking but Krycek is awesome looking!!! I mean Krycek has worked for everyone, betrayed everyone and is still alive! Talk about multi-talented! ~Mari

I vote for Krycek over Mulder. For some reason, Mulder's voice annoys the hell out of me, but I could listen to Krycek's voice all day. In fact, I programmed my computer to play .wav files of him talking when I open windows, open a program or get an error message. :-) Krycek has that cool voice that's low and rumbly. At times it can be downright creepy. He looks good in leather, and he has those beautiful eyes. Also, he really pays attention to people. Mulder doesn't even notice most of the time when Scully is upset, it's like he's totally self-absorbed. Krycek can be very nurturing at times and he really knows how to keep good eye contact. And hell, Marita chose to roll around with Krycek rather than Mulder-- okay so she stole the kid, but she could've done that without having fun with Krycek first. Besides, who's to say that she wasn't gonna bring the kid back to Krycek in the end.... Well, that's my view. ~Su

first of all, krycek is way better looking than mulder. second, the real question should be, who's better, david or nick? and i think the answer to that is nick lea because he's not the one that made the whole cast and crew move down to l.a., and he's not the one who goes complaining about how boring the job is and how he only took it cuz he thought it wouldn't last and he doesn't go acting like he's the best (even though he is) and plus he plays in a band (hee hee). so that's my opinion, since you asked. go to church of x and see my title "forensic pathologist and lover of krycek".... ~susan

Okay, so I think that Krycek is soo much better than Mulder. First of all, Krycek is much cuter. Second of all, Krycek is smarter. After all, he's the one that can speak at least two languages, and Mulder can only speak one! Third, Krycek is much nicer. Note how he didn't beat Mulder up every time he sees him? And last but not least, Krycek is a real survivor. He's betrayed a lot of people and everyone is after him to kill him, yet he still manages to survive. If Mulder didn't have those protectors of his in the syndicate and everyone was after him, he'd be dead by now!! That's just what I think. ~Charlene

I will admit that Alex Kryceck is hot. But Mulder is so much cuter! I would pick Mulder over Krycek anyday. Not only is Mulder hot, but he's the best because of his mind, thats what I love. ~Cas

Krycek takes the prize. Why? Because he's interesting, has the most sexy voice, those angelic/demonic features, looks good in whatever he wears but especially in black and leather. He's a bad boy yet not as self-absorbed as poor obsessed Mulder. He has ulterior motives that keep you on the edge of your seat... waiting and guessing and hoping that all will be revealed. Okay, I had to write because only one of the posted responses mentioned K's voice at all. Now, I bet if you rephrased the question to something like, "Which voice [insert clips of K and M] would you rather hear (have growl at you, etc.)?", many more people would say, "Oh, yes! Take me to him!" (K, of course).That sounded rather incoherent, didn't it? Well, K has this low, sexy voice all the time; to use a cliche, he could read a phone book and sound arousing/sexy/your favorite adjective. But, the best thing about his voice, is that little choke of amusement underlying his speech; heard quite clearly in the wav "Truth? (gasp) There is no truth!" Hoo baby! I sent the wav along to you, in case you didn't have it. Anyway, I wanted to mention the sexy rumble of his voice. Silky and growly at the same time. How does he do that? Krycek is HOT! Not to say that Mulder isn't, but if you could choose a leather jacket or a suit, what would you pick? Alex can talk. I mean really talk. And all Mulder talks about is his "Conspiracy". At least Krycek could talk to you about something interesting, like "the day my arm got cut off...." I mean Mulder's alright, but he needs to just stick to his endeavor of getting through Scully's hard "exoskeleton" (so to speak) Krycek, sure he's had a few flings, but nobody serious, and let me tell you I wouldn't mind taking the position. I vote for Krycek simply because he's got the bad boy appeal, which makes him MUCH cooler than Mulder. All Mulder ever does is whine and complain about his life. Krycek lost his arm and do you see him complaining? So in lotsa ways, Krycek is better than Mulder. ~Carrie C.

Mulder is charming, a nice guy who is simply doing what he thinks is best. He's not bad looking either. All in all quite a catch, give him enough stroking and you can own him. No one owns Alex Krycek, and no own ever will, he's malicious, manipulative, dangerous and the only side he's on is his own. And he's drop dead gorgeous! Mulder is the guy your mother would smile at and nod her head at, and start making wedding plans for, if you brought him home. Alex Krycek is the one she'd call the Priest, Rabbi and Shaman for. She'd also seriously think about locking you in your room until you forgot about those green eyes. Of course she'd also find it hard to forget them herself, unless of course she was dead, and then you could follow the Rat into hell and back all by yourself. Of Course that has to be *Krycek*. Mulder's probably a cute guy, but next to *Krycek* he's absolutely nothing. I'm a huuuge fan of The Ratguy and he should diserve more attention in The X-Files. Well, I thought that I'd give your poll a bit of a go. Poor Mulder's not really stacking up to Krycek now, is he? There's no way now, that he'll win. (And I'm not gonna be much of an encouragement to him, anyways!) I'm gonna vote for Alex. Definitley the sexier of the two. This is very apparent when you line one photo of him next to one of Mulder. Then try agian, with two diffrent pics. You can't avoid it! The truth is: Alex Krycek is SEXY! (But Mulder is very nice, too.) ~Bonster69

Krycek vs. Mulder, let's evaluate: Personality- Mulder is nice to people when he, they, or a family member has recently died or nearly died, otherwise he's condescending or obnoxious. Krycek, at least, is consistent; and he's just as against the Syndicate as Mulder, it's just that he doesn't want to work with Mulder either. Looks- Whether Mulder looks good or not depends entirely on his hair and my mood. Kryceck, on the other hand, manages to look hot no matter what (except maybe that wig-and-beard thing from SR 819, but I forgive him). Besides, we see Mulder just about every episode and not nearly enough of Krycek. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, or some such nonsense. Bottom line- definitely Krycek ~Sumeeta
