Well with Sean departure Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman went looking for another Bond and had one by 1969 with the film On Her Majesty's Secret Service. George Lazenby took to role of 007. Blofeld was back again with another master plan to take over the world. This time with a new virus he had developed call Virus Omega. For the most part the film had a great story line to it with Bond getting married to Tracy Bond. The only real problem with George s portrayal of Bond is he tried to copy the way Sean did Bond which made George look somewhat phony to many people. Having made that remark there were a few scenes that George did that many including myself that Sean probably couldn’t have done. Well after OHMSS George made the decision not to return to the Bond role of 007. This left MGM/UA needing another Bond again. They looked back at Sean.
