Apatosaurus had a very long neck, short boady, and a very long tail. It was shorter than a Diplodocus but three times heavier, and was once called Brontosaurus("thunder lizard") from the way it was supposedly made the ground shake as it walked.

Length: 70ft. Shoulder height: 14ft. 6in.
Weight: 33 US tons.
Time: Late Jurassic.
Place: USA (Colorado, Oklahoma, Utah, and Wyoming).
